Angelo had never been to Erione's shrine. He wasn't a worshiper, and the whole idea of a shrine--a temple, really--felt... personal. Like he was invading. Even if he didn't quite believe the things he'd believed back in Halcyon City (did he even count as a Christian anymore?), it still felt strange to him.
It wasn't as intimidating as he thought it would be though. Just a small, one room building with.. windchimes.
It was a mercy it wasn't windy. If it was, Jude would have had a hard time talking at all. His ears still run gently, and his hearing still wasn't at one hundred percent. Even days after his hearing was blown out, the damage hadn't completely healed itself.
He'd given Erione at least some warning, texting him to make sure he was available to talk, and then he'd hiked out on his own. The snow was still heavy, but already showing signs of lessening.
