Amalia, wasn't too sure about this new place and had no clue what to expect. She sure didn't believe in magical abilities and had only decided to transfer to this college to humor her mother. No, Amalia believed in science and cold hard facts, and the fact of the matter was that there were no such thing as witches or the otherworldly. Everything had an explanation and she would always believe that. As she walked through the corridor dragging her luggage behind her she kept her head down allowing her curly brown hair to fall over her face and cover her multi-colored eyes. She knew she couldn't hide her oddity forever, but somehow things had always seemed a lot easier before people noticed. She just wanted a few moments where she wasn't a freak. She was so dead set on blending in, she hadn't even noticed that she'd dropped the key to her dorm room many turns back. When she reached her room after many moments of trying to maneuver the maze like halls of her dormitory, it had become all to clear that she was in fact locked out and would have to retrace her steps. she sighed just standing at her door.
" Just great," she mumbled to herself.
