"Huh..." Roldan gave a bit of a shrug and took a sip from his drink. "I was interested in the game. But with everything else going on I couldn't really justify it."

He paused, considering. "Are the challenges dangerous? What kind have you done so far? I'm... haha, really competitive. So this is super interesting to me."

"No, the challenges aren't too dangerous," Celeste said with a shake of her head, "So far I believe there has been everything from cards games, truth or dare, intellectual games like riddles, hangman. Physical stuff like swimming. Nothing too crazy, for the moment... "

"As for me, I just haven't had a challenge yet," she told Roldan, "That's why Mr. Parson's is following me, I think..." she told him, "Supposedly, the regalia also help us find our challengers, and for the moment, I haven't had any..." she confessed, not sure why she had had a challenge yet.

(Actually she's with Iggy right now, but I can't use it cause I don't know the outcome yet.lol)

Roldan nodded and gave a relieved sigh. "That's good to hear at least. I'd hate for people to be doing something really dangerous."

Roldan was admittedly a little jealous. He loved competition and this whole thing sounded right up his alley. But he had to be honest with himself. He'd have gotten to absorbed in it and he didn't need strangers hanging around the house, making Iesha nervous. And if Celeste's Regalis had come out with her to this date.

...not a date, he reminded himself.

"Well if I'm not busy and you'd like some company on one of your challenges, I'd love to see what I'm missing out on."

"Sure, that'd be fun!" Celeste said, her eyes lighting up when Roldan offered to come on one of her challenges. "I have never done something like the Game of Divine Rights before so it might be fun to have someone around for encouragement, moral support or to give me a hint if I need it." she said with a grin, not really sure if it stipulated anywhere whether a challenger could or couldn't ask for another's help, but really liking the idea of having Roldan tag along on one of her unknown challenges.

"Great!" Roldan felt himself grinning as well now. This was really enjoyable so far. He looked down at his cup, noting that his coffee had gone cold. Casually placing the tip of his thumb in the liquid, he started heating it back up.

"I'm really glad we got to do this. It's really relaxing." He paused. Thinking. Looking at Celeste. Playing with the inside of one of his piercings with his tongue. Roldan laughed a little nervously. "This kind of is a date, isn't it?"

"So am I," Celeste agreed, "I was a bit hesitant about coming out tonight, mainly because of my regalia." she confessed, "I didn't want you thinking I had brought along a chaperone or something." she admitted with a tiny grin.Then,

Yes, I think it is..." Celeste remarked warmly, meeting his gaze, when he asked her whether it was date or not. "At least, I get the feeling Mr Parsons assumed it was," she added as she slowly glanced around her and saw that her regalia must have actually left. And what's more, she couldn't feel his presence anymore. Mr Parsons had decided, in the end, to give them some privacy.

"You know what? I think, he's actually left us alone," Celeste said rather surprised at this. "Maybe he is more subtle than I gave him credit for?"

"Everybody thinks it's a date," Roldan said with a slight edge to his voice. His eyes flicked around the room, half expecting to see his brothers piled into a booth, staring at him. Doing some dumbass chant, probably. Orsick would be there too. He had to put his coffee down because he inhaled a bit of it when the thought made him laugh.

"Haha... sorry. I just imagined what my family would be doing if they were here. Embarrassing me. Asking me why I didn't take you somewhere nicer. Inviting you and Shale to Sunday dinner..."

He paused, considering. Opening his mouth, it took another second for the words to come out.

"What if this was a date? I mean... or if the next time we got together, it was?"

Celeste looked at Roldan somewhat confused, "But there's nothing wrong with this place, it's perfectly fine..." she started, then suddenly stopped, quickly realizing exactly what he had meant and blushed now as she lowered her gaze a bit.

"I'd actually be okay with everything if this were a date... or if next time was one," Celeste replied truthfully gazing back up at him, though somewhat hesitant too, unsure if he actually thought that this being a date tonight was a good thing or not.

"Well..." Roldan stopped, shutting his eyes briefly. He had promised himself he wouldn't rush things with dating like he had with Narraine. But this was just coffee. And one date wasn't rushing, was it?

Opening his eyes again, Roldan looked at Celeste and felt the edge of his lips curl up into a small smile. "What I mean to say is. Ms. Forestier. Celeste. I'd be honored if you'd let me take you out for a night on the town sometime. An actual date."

Celeste actually felt slightly shocked, strangely pleased, and happy too, when Roldan formally asked her out, and she was sure it showed on her face. She had not expected him to ask, not like this, not in such a straightforward and very polite way as he just had.

Nodding at Roldan's offer, Celeste took a second to compose herself, and then smiled very warmly at him, meeting his gaze, "Yes, I'd like that. I'd love to go out on an actual date with you sometime."
