Amore nodded. "Not too bad for a jacket like that, I'd say. But," she grinned, "I could have bartered for a better price than that."

She knew if it wasn't her arguing that got a person to lower the price, she could either use her female wiles and looks, or just be her vampire self and suck their blood.

Suddenly Amore took one quick glance at James and then broke into a run.

James stood there dumfounded when she darted away. He was not really sure what had triggered this reaction from the younger immortal. The sandy haired man, although right now his hair was quite a bit darker, turned to look behind him and found that there was no bear or cougar behind him to scare her away. He raised a hand and passed it through his hair. That motion made more than a few strands stick up in spikes.

''What has you afraid Madam?'' He asked in a yell.

At his yell, Amore stopped. She spun, realizing he had mistaken her for being afraid of something. She bit back a laugh at his spiked hair and tilted her head to the side. Kinda cute looking like that... she inwardly mussed.

Shaking herself out of her thoughts, Amore grinned. "What made you think I was afraid of something, sir?"

he gave a small smkile and a shrug at her reply.

"Well, you WERE running away were you not?" he said.

Noticing the mischieviousness the other was exhuding, he started at a gentle lope in her direction. No sense wasting his energy when his 'oponent was a vampire, he was sure she cvould outrun him by a few times. and then he had an idea.

Getting a machiavelic smile of his own, he transformed in an odd ball of light before speeding in her direction. Having no body to slow him down, he could easily keep up.

Amore's eyes widened when he turned into the ball of light and within a seond she turned and took off running, full speed. She weaved in and between trees and brush, going at a speed most people would just see a flash of her before she was gone.

Spotting a rabbit as she was running she grabbed it on her run and fed off of it, discarding it once she was done and the animal now only a lifeless carcass.

Having no body was kind of fun. As he chased the young vampire, He was able to keep up in his 'light' form and was not discouraged. He let a tendril of his white light thing touch the back of her neck.

"You're it." He told her amused.

He chuckled and waited for her to acknowledge the fact he had gotten one over her. It might have all seemed a bit childish, but he suppose dthey did not have much occaions to be so.

When he spoke she gasped in surprise. "Didn't know we were playing a game!" She called out to him.

She turned to him and raced after him. When she got close enough, she dove---and fell to the ground. Since James had to form, her hand just fell through the light. Amore sighed and began laughing.

When Amore fell through him, It felt rather weird, a lot like a wave of heat gowing through him. He gave a small shudder, but it was not obvious. He extended one of his ghostly arms and Pulled her up to her feet as the limb turned around her a few times. When the vampire was back to her feet, he gave off a smile feeling towards Amore.

''You know, falling is not good for one person's health.'' He said.

Still laughing softly, Amore grinned. "Oh, but I have perfect health!"

Looking down at the arm thing wrapped around her, she blinked. That's just weird. She looked back up at him.

Sheepishly, he unwrapped the limb from where it was and gave a shrug as he ragained human form.

''Sorry about that.''

He knew how weird that could look.

'Enjoyed the chase?' He asked her with a mischievious smile.
