Twin bondage

Elatrion walked into the cafeteria. A cocaphony of students voices and eating utensils clinked into her ears. Her usual scowl was present on her face as she walked to a deserted table in the far left corner of the cafeteria. It was situated behind a large pillar and only about two feet from the wall, making it perfect to be alone at. Or to have a discussion with someone else that you don't want to be interrupted. Slowly she made her way across the room. Her long legs propelling her body forward showing that she had a place to go and no time to waste.

She reached the table and pulled out a chair not bothering to get food or drink, she crossed her pale hands and set them on the table waiting for Atalia to show up.

Atalia went through the line, picked up an apple, some orange juice, and paid for them both. As she digged through her purse, she looked around for her twin sister, Elatrion, who she was supposed to meet this morning.

"All alone in a corner as usual..." She thought to herself. She loved her sister very much, but sometimes thought she was too negative, and should lighten up, but you can only do so much for a person. Maybe if she wouldn't scowl so much, things might be better. Atalia smiled on a regular basic and was alright...

As she glided over to the table, she sat down, and gave her sister a big smile. "Good Morning Elatrion! How are you today?" As she finished her sentence, she grapsed her apple and bit into it. Chewed, and took a sip of her orange juice. "Aren't you going to eat something?" Atalia said as she offered some apple to her.

Elatrion looked up and let out a sigh. There was Atalia in the lunch line, smiling for no reason as usual. She let out a sigh, sometimes she thought her twin sister was a little too optomistic about the world, but then maybe she was just cynical. Atalia was kind, and good hearted. A wonderful person. Almost too wonderful, but not quite. The kind of person that everyone loved. She had to smile when she was around.

"Thanks," she said taking the apple and biting in. Ripe and juicy, just the way an apple should be. I'm good, thanks for asking. How're you? Study for that test in math?"

"TEST?! Since when did we have a test?!" Ata sighed. "Eh, what's it over? I bet I can do some breezy skimming if you remember." Being the scattered brain she was, she forgot another test. Although she had pretty good common sense, she could maybe pass it with a okay grade.

"I'm pretty good, although I might not be, depending on how hard that math test is. Sheesh, out of all the tests I could have not studied for, it had to be the math one!"

Atalia took the apple back and took another bite, for some reason, she was really hungry this morning.

Ela let out a small giggle, Ata was such a scatterbrain she never remembered tests.

It's okay Ata, the test should be really easy if you have been doing your homework. Just make sure you know permimeter, circumference, area, and biconditional statements and you should be able to pass with an easy B at least.

Ela always remembered the tests and wound up reminding Ata on the day of the test. Oh well, there were a lot of things Ata was doing for Ela all of the time too.

She noticed that Ata wasn't eating much and concerened asked Why aren't you eating much? Not feeling well?

Ata pondered, "Well, I know the first three, but I can never get biconditional statements right!" she half smiled, "maybe if I can bribe the teacher..." she let out an overexaggerated laugh "Just kidding! Think you could brush up my bio statement skills before the test?"
She noticed that Ata wasn't eating much and concerened asked Why aren't you eating much? Not feeling well?

"Oh, I'm fine, I never eat much this early. I'll be sure and get plenty of snacks after Math Class, okay?" Atalia took another swig of her orange juice and offered the rest of the half eaten apple to Elatrion.

Heh, well alright. Just rememeber biconditional statements always contain "if and only if" if you can remember that you'll be fine. she said taking the half of apple gratefully and biting in.

The math test would be a breeze for her, math was easy, so was science and writing and pretty much any other school subject. It was the sociallizing that was hard for Ela.

So, made any new friends lately?

Atalia yawned, she hated math, stupid math! It was English that was her strong point, and Ela was always trying to explain it to her how the equations went, or the bicodition statements for that matter.

"Ugh, I sure hope so, I can't hold a good average if I keep forgetting these test like this."

So, made any new friends lately?

Ata looked at her sister with a funny look. She was a little out of place in this big campus, and her sister was dear to her, and a lot of things were on her mind. Pretty much everything, except friends.

"No, I haven't spoken a word to any one here other than you yet. I've been kinda thinking about things... "

Ela cocked her head to the side with a perplexed look showing on her face.

"Thoughts...like what? Usually you're a completel social butterfly!" she said

She finished off the apple and tossed it a few feet and into the trash can. As soon as she was sure the apple was properly disposed of she looked back up at her sister worried, Ata was always sociallizing...ALWAYS. Something big had to be going on for her not to be. This was worrisome.

Atalia looked down, kinda embarrassed she wasn't being her usual self. She gave a weak little smile, "Well, I was just thinking about why we came here... and about...Mom and Dad." She hadn't thought about her parents for a long time, and wanted to block out their memory, but, suddenly, it had come back.
