Private Turning and Turned

Vi would never refuse meeting up with Shiro like this. If she was reaching out there was a reason, and all the beautifully emotional couples flitting around the park couldn't keep her distracted from that. Ok, so maybe it was tempting- but Vi was able to pry herself away.

She bounced on up towards her dorm, spotting Shiro sort of just lurking by the door and looking upset. Vi wrapped her arms around the younger girl and gave her as warm a hug as possible. Sensing the fear and panic emanating from her. Was someone hurting her again? No matter, grilling her wouldn't help. She had to make it so Shiro was comfortable enough to tell her what was on her mind. "Hey, of course I would come. Like I said. If you ever need me i'm just a text and a superhuman jog away."

Then she looked around at the few people coming and going. "Hmm, come on up to my room. We'll have some privacy there. Just don't mind the... well you'll see." Vi smiled goofily at Shiro despite the sense that something was pretty wrong. Both because she wanted to cheer Shiro uo, and because she was feeding off the emotions. Her hand reached out, offering to lead Shiro inside if she wanted.

Vi squinted at the jokes being made at her, and Eon's, expense but sagely let them pass in favor of focusing on the real reason Shiro was there. And it was starting off badly for sure. As Shiro tried to butter things up Vi started to get a sinking feeling in her gut. A terrible sense that there was a 'but' coming that no chair could ever hope to hold under its weight.

"Shiro, with those symptoms I can guess but you can take your time telling me," she replied in what seemed to be the same soft and calm way she tried to use when talking someone through their issues. But as she stepped forward to offer Shiro a hug her fists were clenched involuntarily. "Are you hurt? Is there something we need to do for you before we settle in to talk about this?" If her fears were correct and Shiro was... well she might not have been getting the proper sustenance.

Vi hugged Shiro again and then led the girl to a set of chairs before the poor shaking Shiro could collapse. At which point Vi made sure to look Shiro in the eyes. Capturing her attention to earnestly reply, "Stop. I'm not going to kick you out to suffer all by yourself just because you're turning into a vampire. The cult I was in was evil, and if someone turned you without your consent they're evil too. But I would never, ever, ever blame a victim."

Her eyes were of course glazing over as the emotions poured out of Shiro but Vi was trying to keep a level head. To be a good friend and a mentor first, a vampire second. She reached out to clasp Shiro's hands in her own. "I don't know what the blood thing is like. But I know what the vampiric urge feels like. I know what it's like to be burned by the happy sunlight. You came ot me for help and i'll help you any way I can. Aside form feeding you- i'm afraid I don't really have much use for blood myself."

Vi wasnt sure whether she believed Shiro 100% that she didnt know how she was turned. It seemed a lot like maybe she was holding something back. But she didnt push for it. Instead she gave Shiro's hand a squeeze and then hopped up to rummage around in her closet.

Tossing clothes here and there like it was a cartoon until finally she produced a large unflattering brown curtain of fabric and tossed it onto Shiro. "Here you can borrow my spare cloak until you get one that better suits you. Even normal people have to wear sunscreen right? Just think of it as advanced sunscreen and we'll take this one step at a time. Does Mr Del Bosque or your brother or sister know about this yet?" She was making sure to keep thi gs productive oriented and remain nearby in case Shiro started to panic.

"You know, you better stop collecting spooky titles or you'll be like a walking halloween costume," she jokingly chided Shiro. Although the core of the message was serious. The younger girl had a whole lot of different things going on.

Vi helped show Shiro the best ways to wrap the cloak an fasten it so everything was shielded from the sun. Using a ceiling light as a faux sun for testing of course. "I never got to have a younger sister so I guess all my sister energy goes to you. But you really need to tell Tadashi. Just think how much more he'd worry if he found out before you told him. Or if he noticed things and made the wrong assumptions?" Vi three an arm around Shiro and squeezed.

Inside her head she was screaming about how terrible it was to be turned unwillingly or unexpectedly. Technically at least she had wanted to do it herself-even if that was a brainwashed and drugged up version of herself.
