Trying to be quiet

Ed half ran into the lounge, breathing a sigh of relief that she had found it and carelessly dropping her small suitcase on a coffee table at the side of the room. She'd go unpack later..

The room was empty, save for someone snoring on one of the larger couches, rather loudly in Ed's opinion. She wrinkled her nose at them, considering walking over and waking them up but deciding against it.

She went instead to the other side of the large room, flopping upside down on a couch mirroring the one the other student slept on and staring up at the ceiling. After a bit she decided this a bit boring for her taste, tilting her head back to get an upside down view of the room and kicking her feet that were slung over the back of the couch.

Converse sneakers covered with drawn-on hearts - despite the fact that they looked decidedly male- housed her feet, and the rest of her was clothed in a worn-out pair of camouflage pants, paired with a frilly pink tank top. Her hair was tied up in an elaborate, almost perfect hairdo, giving her an oddly girlish look that didn't seem to fit with the rest of the ensemble - let alone Ed herself.

Ed sighed, pulling on a strand of hair that had somehow miraculously managed to escape from the hairdo, along with quite a bit more that framed her face nicely when she was sitting up and looked eerily like little spiky horns when she was sitting upside down.

In her upside down view she could suddenly see Judas Anderson, as if he had materialized there, floating calmly off the ground with a slight smirk.
"Why, hello there, we haven't met, I suppose. New here, miss?"

Ed's eyes widened in surprise, both from the sudden appearance of the floating boy, and the fact that he had called her miss. Were people here supposed to call each other that? That was odd.. She laughed quietly at the thought, pointing over at the suitcase and nodding as best she could while sitting upside down. "Yes. Sir. Mister?" She cocked her head to the side, frowning softly in confusion. "It's nice to meet you, anyway." Ed sighed, flipping both feet of the couch and spinning around to an upright position. This school has too many rules..
