As Garrett picked Cosette up and set her on his back she could feel sudden fatigue grip her. Now that Cosette knew it would all be okay, that she was so close to reaching freedom, all the fear and stress from the last few weeks caught up to her. Cosette set her head on Garrett's shoulder and left the running to him. Naturally Cosette still held on, but otherwise she just closed her eyes and let her mind and body rest. She was exhausted.

Cosette nodded off, too distracted to even notice Garrett was lost or that people looked at them strangely. She only snapped out of it when Garrett kicked the police station's doors open, startling many people inside and her as well. Cosette jumped a bit and looked around, she had never seen the inside of a police station. It looked proper and clean, and so did the people behind the counter. Cosette slid to the ground, suddenly feeling very uncertain. She looked at Garrett with a confused look in her eyes.
"W-where should I, um, go now?"

It probably wasn't really a good idea to kick open the door like he did but Garrett didn't really give a shit. In his mind it was just a quick and easy way to get someone's attention which it did. Garrett let Cosette slide off of him and then helped her up. "Uh well we got their attention....I guess the desk over there?" Garrett pointed over to what he assumed was the receptionist desk. He guess that was the place, Garrett actually haven't been inside the police station before so he was just reading signs and whatnot to see where to go. It all seemed pretty straightfoward though.

He approached the desk and just stared at the person sitting behind it. Totally sizing them up. "My friend here needs to report a crime involving this shitty scumfuck of a person." He said as he gestured to Cosette. Garrett was just going to let her do the talking and explaining the whole situation. He rather not have to be the one to do that since he probably couldn't do it without sounding extremely murdery.

Cosette was relying on Garrett at this moment, this was a completely new situation for her and she was still afraid. Cosette kept glancing at the door, expecting Ulric or one of his workers to come in any moment and take her away. Cosette was clutching Garrett's jacket, he was here, even if that happened he wouldn't let anyone hurt Cosette or take her away.

Cosette followed Garrett to the counter, the person behind it was sizing the two up with confusion and slight suspicion. Or at least that's how Cosette saw it.
Cosette looked at Garrett with surprise and mild horror when he used such crude language, but she didn't correct him. After all, Cosette agreed on some level. Although she would've used...less colourful terms.
"Um, yes, I'd like to report, um, a crime."
Cosette said, her voice shivering a bit. But the person behind the desk was professional, and took Cosette's statement. And after that things moved quickly. After confirming the severity of the crime Cosette was escorted to the back by police officers.

((Let's end it here, I'm not familiar enough with these kinds of procedures to write about them))
