"The day I get hurt by my own spell I will finish me off myself. That's witch's greatest shame."
Anna said with a huff as an answer to Ronnie, but when he wasn't looking she smiled just a bit.
"Glad you're okay too, stupid moth."
"Okay okay, that's enough. You're cutting off my circulation."
Anna said after few moments and nudged Ronnie to back away. He was crying, and seeing that stirred Anna's long dead tear ducts a bit. But she didn't let herself cry, and put her hands on her hips.
"You're always a mess. Doesn't mean you're allowed to say that, so shut up."
Anna reached out and bapped Ronnie's arm, this guy could really get down in the dumps, even more than Anna, and that had always irritated her. And made her want to protect him.
"They're here...shit!"
Anna looked down, crossing her arms and lightly biting at her nails. They probably weren't going to blame Anna, of course they weren't, those idiots. But Anna blamed herself more than all of them ever could. Though that didn't bring her down, it just made her more determined to get her magic back and fix everything.
"I royally fucked up. I need to fix it. Ronnie!"
Anna looked Ronnie straight in the eyes, her expression was stern and hard.
"You can tell everyone I'm here. But don't let them try and come find me. I need to do something and they would get in the way."
That was a lie. Anna just didn't want them to see her like this, powerless, and she didn't know how to face them in the first place. If they would just be happy that Anna was okay and would forgive her just like that Anna didn't know how she would react.
So before Anna met everyone she needed to get her magic back. As soon as possible.
