This whole mess for sure had not gotten a wonderful start. First Anna had ended up on some colourful fever nightmare city, where people had randomly taken pictures of her and spoke in a weird language. And then she had been taken to this place that was not as bad but pretty damn close, full of weird looking people and...things. And almost fucking everyone glowed. Was this really the Cryptid Zone? It was really different from what Ronnie had described but Anna wouldn't be surprised at all. And if this was Cryptid Zone June was here, and that was all everyone in the Enigmas wanted.

Anna had been told that this place was the island of Manta Carlos on Earth, but definitely not her Earth. This place was like from the future, and everyone was suspiciously helpful. Anna didn't trust anything these people said, she didn't trust anyone. For all she knew these people were planning to take over this world, were secretly conducting experiments or doing something else generically evil. Maybe they had captured everyone else and Anna was in fact a prisoner too. Maybe these people had taken away Anna's magic.
All in all Anna had no idea what this place in truth was, or why her spell had gone so badly wrong as to launch her in a completely wrong dimension. Or the right dimension. Again, Anna didn't know. And Anna didn't like not knowing things. And where should she go to find stuff out? The library, of course. Though Anna doubted she'd actually find anything helpful in there. All the books were probably hogwash.

The libraries at least almost all looked the same, and this one was no exception. A bunch of books neatly in shelves, tables to read on, a counter for borrowing books. The basic set. But still Anna kept a suspecting eye on everything and everyone as she walked between the shelves, looking for books on magic. What Anna needed to do first and foremost was fix her magic. She felt naked without it, and releasing her magic was hard in this state and Anna could slowly feel her magic building up to dangerous levels.
Anna picked up a book "When Magic Malfunctions", and began skimming through it, frowning at the contents. They seemed legit, but she didn't let herself believe it completely. "Trust no one" was her mantra now.

Ronnie was.....

There was a lot of things going on right now for Ronnie. A lot. It's actually kinda hard to even begin what the fuck was going on with him so to simply put things, He was did not feel so good.

There was bad vibes everywhere, people who probably needed help and it was taking everything in his body to just ignore it all. Things would be easier if he was high but he was out of drugs and didn't know where to get any. Ronnie is just...scared. Scared and paranoid.

Ronnie attempted to make himself useful, he went to the library to do the whole research thing about this world's history and stuff about portals. "Research first....form a plan...investigste..." he mumbled those words to himself repeatedly so he can stay focused. He wasn't good at this, it was usually Sunday or Wednesday who did this stuff...but they aren't here now and he didn't want to bother Jazz.

He wanted to cry, he felt like crying, everytging fucking sucks right now.

The book seemed legit, but didn't really help Anna. It mostly just described how and why spells could go wrong, not why someone would lose their magic. Anna let out a combination of a sigh and groan and put the book back, useless. But she hadn't expected any less, of fucking course it was useless.

Anna moved on to the next shelf, but as she found the next promising book and began to read it Anna heard this insistent mumbling. She closed the book and looked around the corner. What do you know, another glowing person. And they were mumbling something that Anna couldn't hear clearly, but it was definitely bothering her. Anna would've usually just left it and moved on, but she couldn't exactly, around this area were all the books she needed. So Anna internally groaned and walked over to the guy, clearing her throat.
"Could you keep it down? I can't concentrate if you mumble like that."

Ronnie flinched a bit when he heard a familiar voice. He looked over to where the voice came from and yeah...there were some tears started to form.

"A-Anna?" Ronnie asked as he glanced at the person in front of him. No, this is definitely Anna....or maybe this world's Anna. Either way, this person looked like Anna a lot. "Or uh alternate diminension Anna from this world...." Ronnie sighed.

There were some people that were intimidated by Anna upon the first meeting, maybe because of her looks or her indifferent attitude or the combination of those. But this was the first time someone started crying when seeing Anna for the first time. Or maybe her words had been the trigger to the tears she saw in this guy's eyes? Nevertheless it weirded and freaked Anna out and she took a step back.

Anna frowned, when this unknown person said her name. Her suspicion flared, and Anna balled her fists. She didn't want to pull a Risky and be stupid, but she did put a hand on her wand that she kept in a special case under her shirt on her back.
"Who are you and how do you know my name? What do you mean alternate dimension Anna? Answer me."
Anna's glared at the guy to try and show she meant business. It was exhausting. But she hoped it helped make her look intimidating(it really didn't do much but make her look slightly irritated).

Of course she didn't recognize him. Ronnie couldn't really blame her since this human form was literally a new thing for him. He took a few steps back because, whew glaring. "I-it's me. Ronnie..."

Ronnie fidgeted with the charm that he had on but stopped himself from taking it off. Didn't want to accidentally spook Anna and make things worse. "They uh gave me this human shape charm because I'm...uh..a hazard, w-well my eyes." Hopefully that was an enough of an explination.

She seemed fine, no phasing out like Risky but...
"Are you okay? You are okay right?"

Ronnie?! Anna's eyes widened for a moment, and her hand fell away from her wand. Ronnie as in her friend the mothman Ronnie? Anna stared at him, and now that he did mention it there was something familiar about the glow around him, and the feeling she got from standing near him. But before Anna's hopes could get up her suspicion crushed them, and she frowned again. This could all be a trick. A cruel trap to make her lower her defenses. So Anna didn't believe anything this guy said for now, and returned her hand on the wand.

"Prove it."
Anna demanded, ignoring the questions about her well-being. Anna wasn't about to blab to this guy about her magic being gone.
"Prove that you are Ronnie and not some impostor. Make me believe you."
There was slight desperation to Anna's voice, she was lowkey begging Ronnie to prove himself. She was kind of exhausted being suspicious of everyone and everything, it would be nice to not have to doubt someone. And if Ronnie was here that meant the rest could be too.

She wanted him to prove it? She wanted him to take off the charm thing. Ronnie just looked around to make sure it was safe to do that and the turned his back to Anna. He did this so she could avoid looking into his eyes...well face eyes. There was still the eyes on his wings...

Anyway, he slipped off the charm and just like that he was back to his true self. "I-is this enough prove?"

Anna wasn't sure what she expected Ronnie to do to prove it. Maybe say something just Ronnie would know, use some of his powers, or yes, maybe turn back into a mothman. Anna saw him glancing around, she already knew the coast was clear, she just waited for her proof. When this maybe-fake Ronnie turned around Anna frowned and tried to peek so she could see what he was doing, but then suddenly the human before her turned into a giant mothman and Anna quickly jumped back. She knew what his eyes did, and this time Anna couldn't dampen the effect with magic, so she just looked away with a frown.

"Damnit, Ronnie! Give me a warning next time you do that!"
And that was the moment when Anna started believing this was really Ronnie. Like this his aura was unmistakable, and Anna said something that was very against her nature.
"Put that stupid charm back on so I can give you a hug."

"Sorry Anna.." Ronnie sighed, it wasn't a sad sigh or anything like that but more of a sigh of relief.

He put his charm back on so he could face Anna to give her a hug....a really tight hug. "You're safe...if you would have gotten hurt or died I..." Ronnie stopped himself as his mind went back to the day Mike had died and Sam getting hurt. "I'm glad you are okay...."

After a few more moments of hugging, he backed off from Anna and wiped away the tears from his face. "I look like a mess huh? I guess it's fine since I'm the shitty cowardly mothman." Ronnie let out a awkward laugh as he eyed the book Anna was carrying. "Jazz, Thursday, and Friday are here. Thurs- Duke is in the hospital....and we still haven't found Wednesday or Eric...."
