She has clear, pale skin with no freckles, blemishes, scarring, beauty marks. Nothing. The only exception to this is a light scar going over her left eye. Her skin is very soft to the touch.
She has long, glossy white hair, again very soft. Her hair could easily reach to below her waist if it wasn’t for the fact she keeps it tied up in a long off-center bun tail.
Her eyes are a rather pretty light blue, but they always have a disapproving cold glare to them.

Vero is actually quite intelligent due to pure hard-work. She doesn’t really need to work hard to get what she wants, nor does she really need to try and get a job because of the position she is in. But, she is passionate about fashion design and dreams of owning her own lines one day. She works very hard to make this dream reality.
She has a peculiar way of showing she cares for people by trying to impose her will upon them more than others. She will offer criticism and opinions to people she likes because she believes she is helping them. She doesn’t really mean this in a mean way, just she doesn’t really understand.

As a bakeneko, Vero has magic flowing through her and has the potential to learn new powers in the future if she so wishes.
Like all bakeneko, Vero has the ability to change between a human form and a cat form. She is able to speak to cats in both human and cat form, but is unable to speak to humans when in cat form.
Vero will more than likely live up to 500 years.
Transformation: Vero is able to change between human and cat form at will, with any clothing she currently has on fusing with her. Any other items such as bags will fall to the ground upon transformation.
Disguise: If Vero knows a person’s full name or the latin name of an animal she has consumed blood of, she is able to take that creature’s form for a limited time. She must be in this form for a minimum of 2 hours and a maximum of 24 hours, because effects like headaches, nausea and anaemia increase along with the time.
Vero does not have access to any additional forms.
Half-Cat Form: This is an ability which Vero has only discovered she could possibly do in more recent times.
She can take on a form halfway between human and cat, and is done supposedly by feelings of anger and fear.
The form is humanoid in shape, but has the addition of a tail and ears with a thin layer of white fur covering her entire body. She has retractable claws, improved eyesight, cat hearing sensitivity, increased strength, improved reflexes and improved balance.
This form can only be maintained for 12 hours, and Vero would have to rest and sleep for quite a while afterwards,

Her mother was a very special breed of cat with magic flowing through their veins, which would have them turn into a bakeneko at the ages of 7, 10 or 13.
The winter was brutal, and most of Vero’s siblings died. Her mother desperately attempted to keep the remaining litter alive but died as well.
Like her other two siblings, Vero stayed at her mother’s side and mourned her death. Fortunately, an elderly man passed by the kittens. He decided he’d pick them up and find them homes. It was very easy to find homes for all three of them, and Vero was separated from her brother and sister.
Vero was adopted by a wealthy American couple who were tourists at the time they adopted Vero. The couple came from a wealthy American family who had a hand in multiple successful businesses, and had people with many qualifications. The part she specifically belonged to was the couple, and their young son and daughter. Vero was named Veronica simply because it was a name they quite liked, but was nicknamed Vero.
Vero was a pampered cat, with being groomed regularly, receiving high quality gourmet food, and being thoroughly loved. She rarely got into much trouble and was surprisingly delicate in keeping clothing and furniture clean.
Then, to her own surprise, upon waking up on her 7th birthday, she awoke as a human child. At first, she was horrified and was fully prepared for her family to reject her. But, instead, they fully accepted her. Why? It turned out the family also had members with supernatural abilities, some even lived on Manta Carlos.
So, her family went through some tricky work and got her formal adoption papers. Her name now became Trinity Veronica Abel. She continued to live a life of luxury.
Now, her regular grooming became only wearing the finest clothes, makeup and hair styles. Her gourmet food was still gourmet… but now for a human rather than a cat. Her thorough love… well, that stayed the same.
Her family was always prepared for an emergency trip to Manta Carlos for Vero, but that never happened. She didn’t really practice changing between her human or cat form, and she was never put into a state where she was half-form.
She quickly gained an interest in fashion and appearances, and gained the goal to become a fashion designer. She was privately tutored and worked hard to improve.
She just lived to the age of 14 as a spoiled daughter.
Until, a family member from Manta Carlos came for a brief visit. He worked a minor role at the academy and he mentioned how two students, bakeneko students, had arrived quite recently. Conveniently, they were the same age as Vero… then she discovered they had the same birthday as her. It was no longer a coincidence.
So, with her own willingness despite not having to go, Vero has gone to attend Starlight Academy to try and bond with the siblings she thought she lost.
