“Fine,” Miles said, he didn’t eat out often and he only had Wendy’s a few times. Thinking about Naka’s question about how the other people feel Miles said, “They either don’t like spending money on the fast food or they don’t really care about it. Since they have to bring the supplies they might as well just get something from fast food.” Miles figured that the people who delivered supplies either stopped caring about the prices of fast food or they could bring their own food with them. At least that’s how would deal with the situation. “So, all there is in the city that’s good is a Wendy’s, guess that’s good enough for the moment,” Miles said and flew in the direction of the city. He flew slow enough so that Naka could pass and lead the way to the fast food place.

Naka shook his head. the voiced inquiry about the fast food deliverers was rhetorical... or at least that's how it had been intended, but he imagined the thing they were getting from it was money. Given that he took off simply gliding on thermals.
"There are more praces to eat. There are very nice restaurants but they are expensive. It has most fast food praces. You could go to steak and shake if you want." He suggested. Recently Naka's bank account had gotten a little large since he didn't spend much money on anything not involved with school.
"Besides i have some money to spend."

Miles considered going to steak and shake. He liked the food they had there but, it wasn’t really what he felt like eating right now. “I’ll just go to Wendy’s,” Miles said to Naka, “it sounds better to eat at the moment. I can spend my own money on myself.” Miles saw that they were approaching the city. “Are we going to land and walk the rest of the way or just continue to fly to Wendy’s?” Miles asked unsure of how people would respond to them landing in front of them. If they were to be caught off guard they could panic at the sight of the two winged boys. Miles didn’t have a problem with scaring people like that. He continued to fly and shifted his attention to the gate stone in his pocket. This was one of the two he had left.

Nakata thought back to his earlier statements and remembered telling Miles before but he repeated himself.
"We are going to enter the city on foot. We would cause an uproar. That wourd be bad." He said. The whole situation posed a problem. Some people in the city didn't like people with abilities, most of those had abilities but were in denial. Right now, their best bet was to just blend in.

Miles wasn’t truly concerned over the possibility for panic. If they panicked, it might even be a little fun to watch. Miles brushed the thought aside, “So let’s head down then,” Miles said to Naka as he began his descent. If these people lived by the island they should have been more accepting of the people with powers. It would make sense for some of them to have powers to being near a school for people with them. “I wonder if there are any other demons in this area,” Miles thought aloud to himself. He might be able to find out how things are going in the other planes without using any of his gate stones.

Naka dived toward the ground , unfolding his wings as he got close to the ground and then landed softly as he evened out. He had gotten a pretty good handle on flying, but as far as experience went, despite the versatility of the feathered wings, Miles by far had the greater flight experience. Because of this, Naka landed a full two or three minutes after Miles did.
"I'm pretty sure most demons are rooked at as bad. You and your father may be good, but in this realm, there are many that are evir. This makes them rare here." He explained.

Miles paced a little so he could keep warm waiting for Naka to land. Thinking on the subject of the demons Miles said to Naka, “Well, most of them have lived that way for a while now and probably don’t think that it is evil or just find joy in how it is.” Miles also knew that every demon liked to cause a little chaos every now and then. “Which way do we go to the Wendy’s Naka?” Miles asked Naka before he started to wander off in a random direction. If he got lost than he would have to find his own way back. He had just gotten her and he’d rather not just end up waking all over a city just to get out of it. “What do you plan to get at Wendy’s when we arrive there?” Miles decided to get an idea of what he wantedto eat before they got there.

Naka shrugged at Miles' statement about the demons doing things that were evil. It really wasn't his place to judge and if it came down to it, he would protect one that was innocent, though he could just as easily be on the opposite end of that thought if they were pulling something evil. Humans were really no different, some were evil; not bad not misunderstood, just plain evil.
"I'm not sure what I wirr order. Probabry a burger." He said simply.

——————

It stalked them, the demon slayer. He had watched them fly in on his watch net and was certain of the appearance of two of them. He got that some demons weren't evil but protecting some just wouldn't be permitted if he was to uphold order.

"Alright then," Miles said back to Naka. Miles looked at the city as tyey walked through it and tried to make sure toremember as much as he could about the way as he could. He would come back later and seemwhat else was around here by keeping track of where the way back to school is. Miles thought about the demons he had seen, he wondered how many of them were considered evil byy humans. The demons who rampage gave the rest of them a bad name and he would fight one if it came down to it. Miles thought about how the people of the city ever had to have weird things happen to them because thwy were near.

Naka elected to make the majority of the rest of their trek in silence. It wasn't because he was angry or anything, it was mostly that speaking english was hard.Because of this he would often go periods of time in silence. Still he figured after the little workout from earlier, some fast food would be nice.

——————————————————-

Two demons... he saw two teenagers walking into the city but he didn't see the demon. Either they had taken human form, or he had somehow been mistaken. Two demon signatures though? It was unlikely. Whatever the cause was, he was going to take care of them. With no leads to go off of though, he simply remained invisible, following the teens.
