He stood behind the station, wearing his usual style of clothing, his eyes glowing as usual, it had taken a bit for his wounds from the corn maze to heal, but now that he was up to a hundred percent he was ready to tackle some of the more physical training Angelo was going to throw at them.

So here he stood, the glow of his eyes shifting with his thoughts waiting for his mentor and Vatar to join him.

Angelo stood only a few feet away from Aedan, but he did so without being seen. He was curious to see just how Aedan would react to the surprise, but he was rapidly losing interest in his little game as Vatar continued to not arrive.

Angelo was not invisible. In truth, he he was fully visible, and the police station's camera would pick him up perfectly. But Angelo's most useful power kept him from being noticed. If they didn't already know if he was there, their brains simply wouldn't recognize that he was there at all, even if they had enhanced senses the way Aedan did.

No level of enhanced senses would change the fact that Aedan's brain was determined to ignore him, which let Angelo lean against the wall only a few feet away, hoping that Vatar would arrive soon as the minutes ticked by.

Vatar jogged through the city streets as fast as he possibly could without killing himself. He was never one for lateness and this wasnt a good first impression for Angelo to witness when it came to physical practice. He was wearing orange shorts with black sneakers ,a duffel bag was strapped across his shoulder as he finally made it around the corner. His heart sank a bit when he saw that even Aedan had made it before him however that was the only person in the vicinity. He wondered whiter his mentor had gone back inside to do something or by some stroke of luck he had arrived earlier than Angelo.

Vatar finished his jog up to Aedan before stopping and looking around. "Yo" It was a small hello but Vatar wasnt keen on speaking to Aedan. The fact they were even together felt like a curse. "Was Mr.Angelo here already or did I just miss him?" he asked as he placed his bag on the ground and took off his hoodie to show a black thermal shirt with glitter stains all over. This was due to the menace that plague his household and was the cause for his lateness.

He shook his head in answer to Vatar, "I haven't seen him yet," he never understood Vatar's hatred of him, but there was nothing he could really do about it.

He got off the wall and stretched a bit, "he'll be here when he's ready," he'd be patient and wait for Angelo. He was looking forward to today, to getting his blood pumping, he enjoyed physical training, he did it enough on his own, but he'd enjoy this.

Angelo couldn't hold back on the dramatics, so he simply released his power at the same time that he spoke. As far as Aedan and Vatar were concerned, Angelo would simply pop into existence beside them.

"What's with the glitter?" He asked, glancing towards Vatar. He had no idea why he'd be covered in glitter, but man, he was definitely curious.

With a strange voice hitting his ears from close by Vatar's arms reach for something. Nothing was there of course it hadn't been for years now. His old sword, the one he carried around while in heaven. It wasnt far beyond his teacher to sneak attack him while he was focused on other task. The constant kicks to the back created a twitch of sorts but normally he could stave it off. This one however was exceedingly strong. Glancing over to his right he looked upon the culprit,Mr.Genovese.

"O-Oh my daughter thought it would be funny to play with glitter and got it all over my clothes. Im kinda new at the whole parenting thing so getting her in check and ready for school was an ordeal.Sorry for my lateness." He would end with a small bow and then look around the area for a second "So........were you invisible.....I didn't even feel your soul" Vatar had a small sense of uneasiness at how easy Angelo got by them undetected but had nothing but respect for the skill and ability to do so.

He blinked in surprise as Angelo appeared, but otherwise remained calm, "hello sir."

"I didn't pick up your scent," he said curiously, "some sort minor realty altering magic?" Magic fascinated Aedan, though he had no magical abilities himself, "I remember seeing some charms that can hide the user's scent."

The idea of somone being able to hide so perfectly was both intriguing, "seems very useful," though he supposed others might have this ability, others not as friendly.

"Not really invisibility," Angelo pointed out. "More like a very selective type of mind control. You actually could sense my soul and smell me, but the nature of my power means that your brain sort of... skipped over it. It was getting the information, but it didn't know what to do with it."

He was sort of surprised to find out that Vatar had a child--he didn't look that old, really--but he kept it to himself rather than commenting.

"It has it's pros and it's cons. Anyone want to take a guess at the advantages and disadvantages, compared to regular invisibility?"

Vatar picked off some of the glitter on his clothes listening to Angelo's question? Somehow Thea found these antics funny no matter the situation. A small bit is distaste formed in his mouth as he reflected on the crap that was his life these past few months. For a second he would've appeared to be in deep thought though in actuality he was just lamenting.

"Huh, Well for one it poses a danger to those working with you if they enter a space and assume there is no one inside, but then you have already entered or are unable to announce yourself. Jumpscaring a cop in a high stakes situation....or any criminal situation can be bad. You advantage shines more if you are infiltrating and you have informed the authorities prior. As long as your people know you are there and the enemy doesn't you can essentially remove your disadvantage."

He finished up picking off glitter with the tail end of his answer before looking back up at Angelo with a more tranquil facial expression then he had before.

"It's a fair point," Angelo said in response to Vatar, "but you'll see a similar advantage of disadvantage even with normal invisibility. The real advantages of a skill like this is that a lot of people with advanced senses--weres, demons, you name it--are used to relying on them. Since people with proper invisibility outnumber people like me, even if they're told they're dealing with someone invisible, they assume that it won't be an issue for them."

People like Aedan or Vatar, in other words.

"But, big con: Doesn't work on camera. If anyone has a security camera on the area, they'll see me just fine, where as most invisibility powers will hide you from them. Similarly, doesn't work very well on animals, and I'm pretty sure it wouldn't work at extreme range, like if someone was observing through binoculars. It's important to consider powers, whether they're your own or someone elses, and to weigh the pros and cons. Even powers that might initially seem useless can be extremely helpful, but it's also important to consider how they could interact. Good advice for being a cop, but also good advice just for functioning on the island. Pretty much no one is used to this level of power diversity, so it's hard to get a handle on."

Without actually explaining, Angelo gestured for them to follow, heading towards the back of the station.
