Word had gotten around the competition that Eon Cheshire was looking for a few regalia with certain, rather odd, powers - or at least odd for a cat - one of them being demonic aura. And Celeste's newest partner, Daimos, who, despite all appearances of being an extremely happy and well-adjusted teen, was, in fact, the possessor of such a gift.
And, if she had not been a healer, mother, and a teacher, she might have bonded with the young man. They actually got on marvelously, and even now, she wasn't too sure about trading him. She had become rather fond of the teen and thought it'd be a shame to hand him off to just anyone. However, for some reason, and though she had not actually gone up against Eon yet, in fact, Celeste hadn't gone up against too many people she didn't already know beforehand, she felt that, perhaps, Daimos might bond or be happy with him, or with somebody closer to his own age.
"Did you want, need anything?" Celeste asked the tall, blond youth as they waited patiently in front of an outside cafe for Eon to arrive.
"Nah, I'm good... " Daimos remarked with a shrug and looked down at Celeste happily, "You sure about this? Remember, I can easily scare into submission all those unruly students for you, make them wish they'd done their homework. Stop them from passing notes, talking in class..." he teased.
"I know you can, Daimos...and that's why I am not bonding with you," she said with a chuckle. "I need the kids to respect me, not fear me."
"But fear is so much more fun," Daimos replied, flashing her a wide evil looking grin.
