No luck then. Sarah would have to resort to the secondary option of transferring the data through skin contact with a connector, but unlike male plugs, the actual contacts would have a hard time being connected to the android without jamming it into her skin. Her old equipment would have been better for this kind of method. She looked at one of her workbenches and had an idea. "This could be a good trial run for that prototype..." she said, mostly to herself, before going to another terminal. She entered a sequence a little crate on treads rolled over to the chair. It opened to reveal a robotic arm.
Though it seemed Sarah was only interested on the removable part of it over the hand, almost like a glove except it was more like a wireframe. "Rosetta, please come here for a minute," she called to Zoe's companion.
"Uh, yes?" she walked closer and Sarah handed her the device, which had wires at the back of the hand.
"Wear this on your left hand, will you?" she simply said, holding the other ends of the connector in one hand while she looked back to Zoe. "You said you can transfer data just from contact with your skin, correct? Rosetta will keep the prototype glove in contact with you, and you can channel your data through that."
Sarah looked back to Rosetta and gestured for her to start the skin contact after plugging the wires into the terminal.
Looking at the glove for moment, she looked back to Zoe and grabbed her hand. trying to not to look at the android's privates, but at the same time she felt it would be a bit awkward to keep eye contact, so she just kept her head down. "This will do, right?"
"Yes. By your leave, Zoe."
