Private Finished To Poke An Angel

It had been a rough last few days for the angel. Not only had he lost that stupid challenge with Dalia, he'd also been forced to endure the aftermath of it all. He had a couple huge regrets from it all, namely the carelessness that had allowed the girl to reach the wings with her neck and bite them when he had pinned her down and how his frustration had caused his wings to disobey his orders and attached to the nullification charm. But the greatest of his mistakes was just allowing her to choose the location like that. A more remote location would have been far better than the gym. Because of that mistake, everyone saw and everyone knew. There was even a video of his failure posted on the internet, naturally by the hands of a demon.

People were talking about it and it was just awful. There wasn't much that could be done about this sort of thing, so he'd chosen to just lay low for the next week or so until everyone grew bored of it. Or at least that was the plan. Vespa had appeared before him on his way to his locker and kinda ruined that for him.

He sighed when she spoke to him, eyeing her up and down and allowing his halo to glow and confirm the obvious. He didn't deny anything, simply looking her way. "Can I help you?"

Rem just frowned as she spoke, beginning to understand the nature of the conversation that this demon was trying to spark. He'd phrase his words a little carefully so as to not start something. He'd just have to end this conversation as quickly as possible and then he could go back to laying low.

"I am a being of light, correct. That much should be clear by the fact that I am an angel. As for my opinions on demon kind, it should not concern you, after all it is forbidden to attack a demon on the island so you have nothing to worry about."

Rem had a look of disgust growing on his face that only got worse as she snacked on what had to be some sort of rodent skull. Deciding he was done with this, the angel huffed. “Sorry to disappoint. I am not interested in entertaining you in the slightest.

He was turning away when the name clicked. Vespa. And then he had to make one last remark. “And you better not pull anything with that Katie girl either.”

Rem closed his eyes and took a deep breath in and out before opening them again. He was just going to choose not to acknowledge that part about killing her sister and being so proud of it. This was just how demons really were, most of them were usually better at hiding their awful personalities though.

He hated being called a runt, but he was going to be the bigger person and let that fly as well. Here more than ever, he needed to stay on top of his emotions. "I said not to do anything to that Katie girl. I have heard that she's been... interacting... with you and I am just telling you that if you do anything to her, I will make certain that the school is informed."

Wormy little runt? That was so rude. Rem was staying calm but he was certainly getting annoyed by the nicknames.

“I’m not telling you what to do. I know very well that I cannot control you. I am simply alerting you to what I will be doing should you do something illegal. And I would suspect that most people in this school would take similar action.”

“The way I treat demons is far better than they deserve.” His face would puff up a little as she changed the skull just to bug him. “And you are doing an awful job of proving otherwise to me.”
