Private Finished To Infiltrate The Black Wings

"Oh, it is just a figure of speech, but yeah, we used the most obscure language we could get from a parellel universe. It is best when the people signing don't fully understand that gravity of the situation," Daph smiled kindly. "But, because you asked without signing right away, by signing this contract you are bound to the Black Wings and performing actions that are deemed betrayal of the Black Wings will cause your death." she paused. "That includes speaking of the Black Wings to others, or even mentioning that you met me or even know of me or any other Black Wing members for example. You will also have to follow orders from people of higher rank than you, or that would be considered betrayal by inaction."

She sighs as she relaxes on the bed.

"Blah, Blah, Blah... just never betray the Black Wings and there is no problem. If you sign today, one of the leaders will be able to meet you as well," she continued talking as she looked up at the ceiling. "Will you sign or leave?"

Daph looked over the contract and drew her finger over the name as if to check something before smiling kindly, and hopping up to stand next to Altizica. She stared up at him, and waited for a second as the contract disappeared from her hand in a cloud of dark mist and for a few minutes she just stood there without saying a word until Altizica felt something get bound to him, it was the contract that he signed and now instantly knew that if he tried to betray the Black Wings it would be instantly fatal and needed to tread carefully as it was unclear what such an effect would do to him.

"Okay, I see the magic is in place, and with that you are one of us," raising one of her hands, Daph lightly touches brushes her fingertips across Altizica's cheek to his chin. "Sorry about being so rude to you, I am Daph, second leader of the Black Wings and just to be clear don't try to tell anyone that unless they are a Black wings member or bad things will happen to you leading to a painful death. That shouldn't be a problem though, just follow orders when you are given them and you will be filled in later on what you can do for us," she flicked Altizica's chin and walked a few steps away from him. "Now before you meet Basil, the first leader, I will talk to you about what you gain from joining us as it isn't all take. You will be paid on every job you do for us, quite well too like any job, you will be given access to a magic tool that can allow you to use magic if you so wish - though some races have trouble with it."

"There is more, but I need to head back. Good day to you, and mind your manners," she said, snapping her fingers as a dark mist covered Altizica, and he felt his body shift to a different location though he still couldn't see anything.

Basil sighed about how loose lipped Daph always was, she put too much stock in Tomas's contracts. He knew all too well that the contracts could be broken and at that point things only got more difficult, this was not a good time to bring another member into the fold. 'Did Daph do this as a distraction?' Basil thought as he took stock of Altizica who was the same height as himself.

"I would normally give you a tour of the complex, but I want to hear from you what you hope to gain from joining us. Your timing is suspect, you have to know that the police are currently investigating us?" he spoke and watched to see what kind of response he would get.

In truth it would be no issue to just disregard this new hire, the risk was greater than normal with the investigation in progress and the fact that Daph was involved made him think that she may be up to something. He really didn't see a possible use for Altizica...

Basil simply laughed after standing there in silence for what felt like forever, it was like he really trused Altizica but he trusted Daph even less. Something deep down inside him told him that if he wasn't careful, whatever she was up to was going to be the end of him or even the Black Wings as a whole. "Okay, I won't further question it, we will need to probably discuss what you will be doing," he shook his head as he pulled on Altizica's arm and lead him to isolated section of the stone structure.

"Listen, there is two things I will tell you - Don't ever trust Daph... I don't care if you are the strongest guy on Earth, she will screw up your entire life and leave you in a ditch somewhere without caring." he paused, "The next thing is that I have a job for you, probably strange to give a job to a new guy, but that is why I know i can trust you more than the rest... you haven't been corrupted by Daph yet."

Taking out a golden key with the letters VW on it, he places it in his hand then gives a package to Altizica in Altizica's other hand, "I need you to deliver this package directly to Lord Van Wagner in Van Wagner Mansion, It needs to be delivered on September 28th... not before and not later. You can use that key to get in, once inside give him that package unopened and if it is opened by anyone but Lord Van Wagner the package will disintegrate and your mission will have failed... that will be considered betrayal by the way."

After speaking to Altizica, Basil just sort of wandered off away from Altizica, as the ground shook wildly. A Black Wing member approached Basil, "Several bombs just went off in the city, Daph is going to attack Woodland Imports I think... she has lost her mind," the man said as several of the Black Wings wandered around almost aimlessly.

Basil in what seemed like a rush opened a dark gate behind Altizica, and grabbed him and dragged him in with him. Both of them plopping out of the Dark Gate in The Strip. "Altizica, you should make yourself scarce for a while, but don't forget the package. It is important."

With that Basil ducked into an alleyway and threw off his blue and black cloak and mask into the alleyway of The Strip, and used Dark Gate again to get to Woodland Imports...
