Angelo really did think he'd been to every Italian restaurant in the city. There were several dozen depending on how liberal you were with your definition of 'Italian restaurant', but lots of them were more... well, American fare. Even though he was Italian-American (or had been raised it anyway), he was used to more authentic Italian fare than the average person was.

He grinned at the answer he got, leaning against hte wall. "So, the twenty seventh then? Twenty third? Whatever I put on the card - I already asked Kiara for the day off, and I bribed her with candy so it's pretty much a sure thing." He was casual as anything, but his head twisted slightly as he heard some kind of noise coming from within the station.

"Sounds like trouble. I suppose I should go inside... where we meeting?" He assumed in front of the station, since he had no idea where Tybalt lived, and he doubted Tybalt had any idea where he lived.

In a way, it was a 'yes' without having to outright say yes. That was a good medium ground, right? He didn't exactly have to be cooing to have a date with Angelo and besides, perhaps he can introduce him to something other than Italian or vaguely-Italian food. Jeez, this guy needed to vary his diet.

"Yeah, yeah, it's the twenty seventh..." He grumbled, looking as ill tempered as ever despite having just been invited out on a date. A romantic date, as far as he was concerned. It had been a while, but this was nothing new. He went through the usual checklist in his head; he needed to get flowers, or at least a flower. He couldn't get lazy just because it was Angelo.

"Huh?" He glanced right behind Angelo's head, towards the door. "Uh, yeah, out front of the station, like always." Shit, what was the commotion this time?

"But seriously though, I think it's time to get back to work."

Ahh, Tybalt was so grumpy. Angelo had to admit that he actually liked that about him. It meant that if he actually said something sweet, he really meant it. He wasn't going to be paying him any compliments because it was 'expected', and the fact that he'd agreed meant that yes, he actually wanted to go on a date, not that he felt obligated to or anything.

"Yeah, probably should. Who the hell is causing trouble on valentine's day of all days?" He paused, mentally noting to himself that Valentine Crowther was probably high on his list of suspects, and then held the door open for Tybalt. Back to the grindstone.
