Josie was sitting on the ground, tired. She was almost asleep when he appeared. Her childhood sweetheart, looking better than ever. She stood up and ran to him. He took her in her arms and spun her around. Then he kissed her. She smiled up at him. This was to good to be true.

Josie woke up with a start. "Just a dream." she muttered sadly.

"Was it really?"
A chuckle as Mekira stood to her side, smiling amiably.
"This could really be the dream, you know. Who's to say the other side of the looking-glass isn't the real one?"
