Now where did he put that blueprint! Dorn was sure he had it somewhere among the others. Not that his room was a mess in any way and he had very good order on his things, it was just that he had a way to be slightly absent-minded and leave things in places where he thought he could remember them and then just forget about it anyway. The boy sat on the chair in front of the desk in his room and it was filled with papers of different kinds...calculations and binary codes...papers with 010011001110010 and so on. other that just had weird writings writen in a way that would eb close to impossible for anyone to understand at all if you where not Dorn. Large textures with inromation in any kind of subject possible, from cooking and languages to math and biology. This was going to be the greatest invention he had ever done in his life. Well not that he was old...he was just 17 years old but still, one had to think big sometimes.

He was as always when he worked listening to classic music, Mozart today, it made him calm down and that way get a better focus to think. But he had like many times before forgoten to close the door to his room. He had worked with this thing for five years now and yes it had taken a great deal of time to gather all the information he wanted to put inside, and all the things he needed to build it to. He had worked many nights to finish the structure of the creation and now it was there on the desk in front of him...a simple box with a screen covering one of the sides.

It did not at all look much to the world yet and that was because it was not finished, no not at all. He still had to download some programing and edit a few things, not to mention the process to rearange the data. Well Dorn loved to do this so it was just fun. "Hmm...I have a feeling I missed something in my calculations....yes of course here it is." he muttered lowly and made a new note on one of the papers. Now it looked much better, maybe his creation was not going to be impossible after all. He looked at the time and sighed a little...time for medicin again soon.

Tech had thought that he had heard something rustling around in the rooms down the hall from his. He peeked in and saw something that almost brought a tear to his eye. A genuine peice of advance technology...or at least something with the potential to be advanced. It still seemed to be under construction.

He looked to see who was responsible for the initiating the construction of such a wonderous work of technological art. Nearby the incomplete computer system he saw a young boy, who looked rather messy and unkept (not that this bothered Tech) standing there looking over some blue prints.

What a unique individual. He seems to be (almost) on my level of intellect! I must offer him my assistance."

So Tech waltzed into his dorm room. "Greetings, may I offer you my assistance?"

Dorn was a little surprised as he heard the voice and turned his eyes towards the door and he noticed the stranger with his mask. Dorn looked at him for a moment and then he smiled slightly. "Greeting, well....sure you can if you want. I mean it came as a surprise to hear but sure you can" he replied calmly and looked around the room for a moment before his gaze returned to the man.

He had not seen this guy before but the weird about him was the mask and Dorn was quick to notice that it was very different from anything he had ever seen before in the ways of metal..."But my I ask for the identity of the one I will have assistance from? I guess to know that would make the work a lot easier for both of us." Dorn calmly picked up another paper and looked at it for a moment before he placed it back in the pile he took it from.

"My designated identification is Techmaster #L901-T2. It is honor to assist you in this project." Tech made a quick sort of bow to Dorn.

"I am impressed with your design, as it displays unusually advance characteristics than most other technology that I have encountered here on this planet." Tech walked closer to the computer and stared at it with masked eyes, scrutinizing all the details of the structure before him. He could not help but notice a few problems here and there.

"Although, I do see a few things that could be improved... I would suggest that you increase the-" This is where Tech began to speak out the dimensions and detailed structural suggestions that he wanted to add. He went on like this for probably five whole minutes before finally stopping, and turning to Dorn beside him to say, "Do you agree?"

Tech had become so excited that he had forgotten that he was not talking to a fellow Techmaster.

Dorn listened to him as he told who he was, my that was a weird name alright. But people had so many strange names these days. "Nice you meet you Techmaster #L901-T2" the boy replied to what he said with a polite bow of the head himself, he smiled a little to the words that it would be an honor to assist him. The teen did not really know what to say about the compliment to the design. "Well I would not say that really...I have had very bad equipment to work with really....most of it old parts I have gotten from different places." he explained calmly and turned the eyes towards his little creation, he was proud of it really. But he did react to what the man said about planet. "So then I guess you are not from around this planet I assume?" he did not think that life in space was impossible at all, he had in fact worked much in the area of space and had made a few calcultations to how he could build his onw transportation out into space without having to waste to much fuel.

He frowned a little and looked back at Tech as he said he could see a few things that could be improved, a normal person would most likely have a very hard time to understand what the teachmaster was talking about, but not Dorn. He heard every word that was said and he understood them perfectly. Dorn actually wrote down a few of the things the other boy said in one of his notebooks. He thought it over and it would seem to really work when you thought of it that way, it was so simple. "Well yeah I think your on to something there Techmaster #L901-T2. I agree with you completely." he replied to the question. "But one could also say that.." he corrected one of the things Tech had said with a thing of his own. "That would not only make it use less power, but also make the unite itself more effective, but then I would need some better metal and I´m afraid I do not have anything like it" he shook his head slightly, stupid medicin that had to drain all the money that could be used for so much else, change the world and everything.

Tech was baffled at the boy's astounding intellect. The last person who had to correct him was his cousin Techmaster #L901-U9, two years ago! Tech almost began to analyze the possibility that the boy was not from this planet as well. "Corrections pointed out are noted."

Tech looked the younger man over with cool, analytical eyes. "Interesting, you display Techmaster level of intelligence and technelogical skill. Trully interesting..."

Tech felt excited, as he had just found someone who he could commune with. With this person, he could accomplish many things and not feel so lonely. "Perhaps, he can assist me in building that drone..."

Tech then remembered something that made him almost want to tear his mechanized arm off out of embarrasment. He had not yet asked the boy for his designated identification. "I am at error, as I have not asked you for your designated identification. What is your designated identification?" He asked.

Dorn listened to Tech as he was talking and the boy was a little confused by his words, techmaster? Was that some kind of titel maybe? Well it had to be really, it could be nothing else...this boy must come from some people very different from the once around these parts. "Well thanks you" he said calmly and looked though some of his papers, he was flattered that he seemed interesting, but was he really that great? He had just a great head for things, that was not everything one needed.

Dorn looked up as the Tech began to talk again and he smiled a little. "Oh no I was very rude not to tell you sooner" he replied with a friendly voice. "My designated identification is Dorn, nothing like yours but it was the one I was given." he then began to look though the papers again for a moment before he look at Tech once more. He then turned his eyes towards the CD player as the music stopped, he sighed a little but he thought that it would easier to talk with Tech if there was no music around, now he could put all hos focus on the newly found friend, this guy really was smart, just like Dorn was...but could he really be from another planet. It was then that he felt something, the metal in his arms...it was different...it was unlike any metal he had ever felt before and he had actually been in contract with many kinds of metal over the years.

The sensors in Tech's arm began to detect something...strange. He looked at his arm and, through verbal command, activated his mask's scanner. Tech's scanner revealed odd magnetic waves that were focusing around his mechanized left arm. He looked up to see that the magnetic waves were being emitted from Dorn's body. "Interesting..."

With this new discovery, he mentally set the completion of the super computer asside, and decided to focus more on his new found companion. He was beginning to prove far more interesting than the device that they were trying to complete.

"Strange, my mask's scan is detecting magnetic waves, which are being emitted by your body... Are you aware of this physiological oddity?" Tech asked, curious about this newly discovered aspect of his companion.

Tech began to seriously wonder if Dorn was also not of this world. Before, he had just considered it a possibility, now though... "Are you truly of this world, Dorn?"

Dorn frowned as Tech began to do something with his arm and all that, the boy examined him for a moment but did not really say anything as a comment, if there was anything Tech would tell him about it surely. Dorn listened to the words...did he notice that? That must be some pretty advanced things he had if he could detect it so fast, Dorn was impressed. "Well yeah I am aware of the magnetic waves coming from my body, in fact I can use the waves to affect any kind of metalic material. Be it normal iron or gold." he explained calmly to him. "I can change shape of it, turn it to liquid or just move it, among a few things I can do with metal. I also are able to sense any kind of metalic object close to me...like that I could sense every single piece of metal you have on you right now."

Dorn was very surprised to his last questions and Dorn did not know what he would say to it. "Well I think I am from this world actually, I was born on this one and what I know my parents did not come from any other planet. But I might be wrong, I guess to be honest that is something I have actually never thought about." well he could not be from another planet now could he? No that was to much cliche...well he was going to find out about that sooner or later. He then thought for a moment and another thing came to his mind. "What about you then? What world did you come from and how did you end up on earth?" he asked and he did sound rather curious to know.

"I see, that is very interesting." Tech began understand that the boy was just a mutant. He was not used to meeting with mutants, as the Dole Empire had to responses to muntants:
1. Locate, Seize, and gain control over the mutant; so that the mutant could have the honor to serve the empire.
2. Locate and destroy the mutant.

So Mutants were not very numerous in the Dole Empire. Any that were there, would hide themselves away from others for their own safety. The fact that Dorn was a mutant made it all the more interesting to be speaking with him. He had only met a few mutants before, most of whom were not that very friendly. Dole military training does things to people...

Dorn then asked where Tech came from and how he had transported himself onto this location. "I am from the planet Techron, which is a member of the grand Dole Empire. The Delta Class Warship that I was serving was on a simple patrol, when it suffered a sudden terrible failure in its navigation computer. The error went unnoticed up until the ship jumped into hyperspace, and ended up in the small system.

Three hours afterward, a major engine malfuction caused the ship to fly into this planet. The ship was going to fly straight into this planet's ocean, so the crew escaped via the escape pods. Analysis of the events suggest that it was sabbotage.

Most of the pods appeared to have been sabbotaged, as well though, causing their guidance systems to fail during descent. This would cause a pod to burned up in a planets atmosphere. I managed to correct my pods guidance systems however, and saved myself from burning up in your planet's atmosphere.

The landing was very hard, and caused the pod to shatter. I was then somehow, against all odds, washed up upon this islands shore, where I am being currently detained. As far as I know, I am the only one to have survived the crash."
Tech said all of the above without even moving, or even stoping to take a breath. When he was finished, he simply stood there, silent, waiting for Dorn's response.
