It hurt to lose a friend, and she knew she was losing a good friend. But their circumstances were too…complicated. If they continued on like this, she was sure trouble was bound to follow. They needed to nip it in the bud now, before it could go too far.“Y-yeah, maybe later on…” Noli murmured, although she was not confident in it. And realizing that just made her cry more. But Jafar, being the sweet person he was, reached over and started drying her tears away.
“Th-thank you. And I’m sorry…” she whimpered out, letting him use the scarf she had given him to wipe her tears. Even in the warmer weather, he was wearing it…
“I-I should probably go now…” Noli said as she suddenly stood up. She felt anxious, overwhelmed, didn't know what else to say or do other than leave.
“I’m sorry…” she said, one more time, before she turned to leave.
