Time to relax

Aiva followed Enelya behind the bookcases. She felt happy despite the violence that was about to begin between those boys. She was still a little frightened, but the concern in Enelya's voice was comforting.

What a day this was turning out to be! She was beginning to doubt whether or not this school was the best choice for her. She didn't want to feel this way. This was her new home, whether she liked it or not.

"Well, this has sure been an interesting day," she said to Enelya with a smile. Enelya had been so nice to her. It was never easy for Aiva to make friends, but meeting Enelya had boosted her confidence a little. Maybe she didn't need to be so shy all the time. She realized she still had to work at that, and knew she wouldn't change over night.

Zaine swung his blades from behind at Decessus, only to have them deflected and nearly be impaled by the falchions. He jumped back, sheathing his blades. "Why! Why are you here, Decessus? You shouldnt...You shouldnt even be alive right now! Tell me why you're back!" He shouted, as Decessus sheathed his Falchions and pulled out Nexias. "I was revived. I had no idea what was what and who I was, until I found this! It made me remember, and then I was given a chore. I was to kill your beloved and force you to your destiny! You are to destroy Xenoranth! You have no choice!" He replied, going forward and swinging the templar at Zaine, who barely managed to get out of the way. He moved back, clearly unwilling to fight any more. "No! I wont let that happen..." He said quietly before pulling out his third blade, the masamune, and swung it, knocking the templar out of Decessus' hand, and out a window. "You're blade is no more, Decess!" He yelled as Decessus fled, desperately cursing Zaine and hurrying to his blade. Zaine sheathed his blade and took a couple of steps forward, collapsing into a chair. "I hope I never have to fight him again.." He mumbled dejectedly.

"Well, this has sure been an interesting day,"

Enelya gave a crooked smile, "Interesting indeed... Strange, strange place this is... But the nature here is worth it... I err, I can talk to animals, and plants too, while also making them grow too." She looked at Aiva curiously, "What would your power be?"

Enelya sat down in front of the Medievil History section, and peered out every once in awhile to make sure the rowdy guys weren't tearing up the place. When the second man had finally left, Enelya gave out a mental sigh. They hadn't caused too much trouble. And besides, Aiva and herself hadn't gotten hurt. She was almost sure that the man hadn't gotten hurt either. Despite the fact the fighting was over, Enelya remained hidden in the Medievil literature.

"My power is invisibility. I can't control it too well though. It only lasts a few minutes before I begin to reappear again. I'm hoping to change that. Also, I've trained in martial arts actually. I've never actually had to use it on anyone though, gladly. I just think it's nice to be prepared for the worst. You never know when you'll need to defend yourself."

The noise from the two guys fighting seemed to die down. She wondered if maybe the fight was over. She also wondered if anyone had been hurt. She stayed where she was, feelings safe hidden among the bookcases, away from the danger.

Zaine buried his head in his hands, trying to hold back tears. He had promised himself he wouldnt cry until he was with Nariko again. He sighed, and stood up. "Its...Alright to come out now, you two....." He said, not really caring what they did. He started towards the door.

Hearing what he said, Enelya frowned, "We didn't leave because you were fighting..." she murmured to Aiva.

Shrugging off the affair, Enelya looked at Aiva with purple eyes, and smiled, "Invisibilty? Thats cool. I wish you luck in your pursues to get better. I don't really remember much of my past, or learning my powers for that matter, I've just... kinda always had them. Although, I do remember the first time I realized I could control plants though," She laughed a little, remembering her first encounter with a wish-fulfilling tree.

Also, I've trained in martial arts actually. I've never actually had to use it on anyone though, gladly. I just think it's nice to be prepared for the worst. You never know when you'll need to defend yourself."

Enelya frowned, looking over towards the strange man, who appeared to be leaving. "That's probably not a bad thing if your living here, with guys like him around... I'm not much of a fighter, but I can defend myself if I need to. Plus..." she looked around, wondering if Kotah was nearby, "I have a friend who has been really good about having my back."

"No...He doesnt necessarily want trouble with you two...Sure, he wants you to die. He wants everyone to die. But..There are only two people he will go out of his way to harm or kill, and thats me....and Nariko...." He trailed off.

"He still scared me half out of my wits," Aiva replied to Zaine, "Whether or not he had intentions of killing me."

She turned back to Enelya to continue their conversation.
"I never knew I had powers either. My brother did and we always knew of his powers, but I didn't know until about a year ago that I had a power. It happened so randomly too. I'd had a bad day at school, and was sitting with a group of friends. I suddenly got this feeling that if I wasn't there, no one would notice. At the time I was fiddling with my ring - What I always do when I'm stressed or nervous. I looked down, and I couldn't see my hand." Aiva laughed, "I don't know if I had ever gone invisible before that, and just didn't notice. Sometimes I wonder if maybe when I had those feelings of disappearing away from my friends, if maybe I was invisible at those times and I just hadn't noticed before."

Suddenly she stopped talking. She began to blush and said, "I'm sorry, I didn't realize I had given you pretty much my whole life's story there."

She cleared her throat, and peered behind the bookcases at the main room of the lounge. "Should we go back and sit over there, now that the fight is over?"

Enelya smiled, and listened to Aiva's story. "I found out my power on accident too. Once, in my village, when I was very young, I was mad at whoever was supposed to be taking care of me.. that part is a little fuzzy for me, but I was standing under a willow tree. I thought to myself, 'I wish this tree would just grab me up and take me away!' and thats exactly what it did, too!" She laughed, "Soon I realized I didn't need to say 'I wish..' all the time, but I was so scared when that tree grabed me, then, I came to realize it was a lot of fun!" She smiled, and started playing with her long, light blue hair. She loved that memory, and kept it dear, it was only one of the few she had..

Suddenly she stopped talking. She began to blush and said, "I'm sorry, I didn't realize I had given you pretty much my whole life's story there."

Enelya gave her a gentle smile, "You'd be surprised how fast some people become friends around here."

She cleared her throat, and peered behind the bookcases at the main room of the lounge. "Should we go back and sit over there, now that the fight is over?"

Enelya leaned back over, seeing what the young man was doing, and nodded, "I suppose so," She said, getting up, and walking to the nearest pale green fuzzy couch. She plopped down, and grabbed up a pillow next to her and put it over her stomach, because it was a little chilly inside the lounge.

Zaine shook his head, and walked out. Decessus would be angry with this defeat. He may be tempted to kill someone to make himself feel better. That would be very bad, thought Zaine. We cant let that happen.
