Near a river in the forbidden, a young who looked to be only sixteen, was standing there, as still as the trees, played a violin. Her bow going up and down the strings, her fingers pressing on the strings, making a lovely sad song. The girls eyes were closed, but you could tell she was calm.

Beatrice, was a vampire, and has been one for a very long time, well, for a little over one-hundred years. She has been through a lot, and has feared them even to this day. Everyday on her birthday, a disaster happens, but luckily, she has a long time till her birthday.

While she played, her thoughts swam. About many things. When the song was done, she set her violin down, in its case, and then she sat down next to the river, and every now and then, threw a rock into the flowing waters. Everything to her now suddenly, didn't seem to matter to her at this moment.

She missed many things, she missed seeing her master, and all the other vampires she knew, but then, most of them she hates, but there was one she enjoyed to be with, he was funny and.... cocky? She shrugged. It didn't matter. She picked up a large flat stone and threw it into the river, and there was a loud splash as it hit the surface, and sank.

Farther away ears pricked, turning slightly as another heard the music. A woman of 19 stopped her walking, head turning in the direction of the music. It was pleasent, but sad and actually brought thoughts to those that would make her sad. She shook those thoughts away and made her way through the trees towards the violin.

Steps were quiet and careful as the music stopped, luckily the woman had a general direction to go towards. Eyes a golden brown soon fell on the sight of another girl, sitting near a river, a violin case next to her. Kitsune ears and tail were dark against her snow white hair that had been let loose and sometimes brushed the ground.

"You were the one playing that music?" She asked, voice clear but not loud in this somewhat calm area. Dressed in jeans and a top that seemed made of silk-like material. She didnt sit just then, waited for the gir to anwser.

Beatrice sharply turned her head, to stare at the newcomer. She smiled slightly, her thoughts still of home, and how she loved to be with her master, and friends, but they were in the past now, and she will see them soon enough. She decided to pull herself out of her thoughts, and greet the girl.

"Hello... yes, I was making the music... I love to play the violin in a wilderness... though, here is a little spooky, but, I like playing here." She said, in a simple tone. "Did you like the music?" She asked in a calmer tone.

She turned to face the river again as she waited for an answer, and as she looked at the river, her hand felt for a rock, and when she did, she lifted it, and threw it into the water.

Lykos noticed the girl seemed suprised to hear another, but said nothing. Hearing the girl's anwser she nodded, almost to herself it seemed. She could admit it was sometimes spooky here, but pleasent as well in its own way. Looking at the river before turning attention back to her she anwsered.

"Your music is nice, though sad when one actually listens to it. It is not somewhere a lot of students go probably. "

moving she settled herself down to sit ner the girl, but giving her the space she might want. A hand rested on her stomach, which was slightly swollen, though not at an extreme yet. Tails curled around her easily, white tips blending with her hair.

"Thanks... its supposed to be sad, my master, or, I guess guardian... He kept me longer then my mother, anyway, he taught me to play the violin when I was younger." She said, and smiled slightly. She stared at the girl a moment, in thought then she turned back to the river.

"Do you play a instrument?" She asked in a cheerful voice, and she smiled, but her fangs were invisible from sight.

"That was kind of him. Though cruel of your mother. Sadly I have never tried to play an instrument." She shook her head. At one point her parents had wanted her to learn one, but she had refused to do so and never took a lesson.

"He seems like he was kind, why did you come here? Dont seem like a child who has trouble with their powers.
" She asked, curious. Ears were perked and looked at her, though lazily one would turn listening to other sounds.

"Well, he only took care of me because my mother died, on my birthday, and I ran away before they could take me to an orphanage, and then I ran into him and he took care of me ever since, I came here because... well, he never told me, and I really don't have powers... well, I'm a vampire..." She said, a little uncertain if she should have told her.

She sat there staring at the water, and sighed, as she waited for an answer.

"Luckily someone took ou in and took care of you." When eyes connected with the girls, there was no fear, resentment or other negative emotions. The woman didnt really seem to show any suprise actually.

"Your a vampire, Im a kitsune. Everyone's different." She gave a light smile in return.

"Yes, I'm happy he took me in, and we got along so well, we both loved music, he was also the one who changed me... Even though, I have spent a little over a hundred years with him, him being almost my father, he is still a mystery to me, like, why did he send me here... he never told me." She said simply.

"I like meeting people who are different." She said in a simple tone.

"I hope you'll find out that mystery soon. No real mystery why I was sent here." She mumbled the last part, thinkngi to herself for a moment.

"Meeting others who are different can always be a pleasent thing."
