A young boy sat on the swings of the Academy's playground, rocking idly on the swing that he sat in. He stared at his feet with a sad expression, thinking to himself. He had been here only a short time, crying most of the days away, but oh lord did he want to go home back to a happier life.

Home...

The thought of how his life was before caused a tug on the boy's heart. He thought back to how his life was before the new move, how happy he was with his mother and father. Rubbing his eyes with the back of his hand, the boy sniffed and tried to keep himself from crying. Alas, however hard he tried he could not stop his tears from falling. Eventually, the boy was sitting in the swing crying with his tiny hands rubbing at his eyes.

Sebastian had been at the academy for a while now, but still he felt new. Walking the grounds he recognized all the buildings and most people around but he had never entered half of them or talked to any of the people. Ever since his first necromancy class had he started to open up and talk to people. Could it be he was growing accustomed to the place? He wouldn't have ever asked Izzy out on a date before all this had happened, memories of being a lone for all those years entered his mind.

Running from the pack that was chasing his father and him all the way across the world they were chased and when his father had finally died Sebastian was found out and brought here. Since then he had never had a father figure our any sort of family figure to be with, Sebastian just hoped that no one else had to go through what he did.

Suddenly after he had passed the elementary school building he looked out to the park where a boy was alone, swinging on the swing. Taking a sniff in the air instinctively he smelt a strange sent he hadn't picked up in a while, "Werewolf." He said to himself, looking around he couldn't see anyone else in the immediate vicinity, taking another sniff he realized it was coming from the boy.

"Wow, could it be true?" He said as he began to walk over to the boy, he was actually wearing a shirt for once so his stench was pretty encased and the fact he hadn't been running, just walking he wasn't sweating. But if the body had any sense of werewolf smell at all he could tell that Sebastian was just like him.

He moved up next to the swing set, leaning on the pole as he looked down at the boy. "They say that when people cry they grow stronger." He then moved to sit on the swing next to the boy putting his elbows on his knees and resting his head in his hands as he looked ahead.

"Or something like that. What's the matter little guy?" Here we go, the test could Sebastian make a conversation with someone who wasn't of the opposite gender and better yet he was just a little kid, going through the same troubles he went through.

The young werewolf jumped when someone approached him, a Fight or Flight response roaring through his body. Although his body would choose to run away most of the time, he couldn't. He was stuck there like a deer caught in the headlights.

"They say when people cry they grow stronger,"

The boy hiccuped in response, unsure of how to take that information. Was it supposed to comfort him? Thinking about it, he supposed it was a bit comforting to hear something along those lines.

When asked what was wrong, the boy wiped at his wet eyes. Sniffling, he tried to speak but only let out hiccups. Poor guy, hardly able to speak, eventually muttered out a sentence.

"I wan' go back home..."

The boy wanted to go home, that was something Sebastian remembered feeling when he was that age, being on the run and never being able to return to places you loved. He put his hand on the back of his head and began to think, "Why do you want to go home? Don't you like it here?"

Sebastian really didn't know how to comfort the kid and he didn't want to just blurt out that he was a werewolf too, maybe the boy didn't even know that he himself was a werewolf. The boy seemed unstable, maybe he just needed a friend. "My name is Sebastian. What's your name buddy?"

He put his hands on the swing and began to rock back and forth a bit, maybe if he showed the kid he wasn't hostile he would speak up more seemed he was just scared.

The boy hiccuped again, sniffling as his tears began to roll down his cheeks even more. He wanted to go back to how it was before, when he had a proper family. The thought of that only cause him to start sobbing. "I wan' mommy...! A-And daddy!" he cried out quietly, bending over in the swing so his top half hung above his lap.

Poor little boy couldn't even tell Sebastian his name; he was just too upset. He just kept sobbing, hanging his head low and gripping onto the chains tightly. It took a while, but the boy's sobs soon turned back into hiccups and sniffles. Sitting up a bit, he wiped at his eyes and sniffled a bit. Although he didn't stop crying, he was able to mutter out his name.

"Kirsten... M'name's Kirsten..."

He sighed a little and looked at the boy, he could see himself in the young boy not just because he was a werewolf but because he also misses his mother and father. "You aren't alone there little buddy, I miss my mom and dad too... But I can't go back to them." He looked up into the sky and smiled imagining his parents looking down on him, he had a girlfriend and was safe pursuing his studies he was sure they were happy with him.

"You are here for a reason Kirsten. Chin up and look forward." It was a bit much for a five year old to understand but Sebastian had made a mental note to look after this boy, he was scared and alone and Sebastian didn't want anyone else to be the way he felt. "Hey, wanna go get something to eat?" He said standing up off the swing and looking crouching down so he was at the same height as the boy.

Kirsten didn't quite understand, but that was okay. Looking down to his feet, he thought to himself. He was pretty hungry, and getting some food wouldn't be a bad idea. Sniffling once more, he got off the swing and nodded as he used the collar of his shirt to wipe at his eyes.

"Can we get chicken nugs...?"

Sebastian smiled and put out his hand for the boy, "Of course we can. I think the cafeteria had them special today." Sebastian's eyes glowed as he got close to the boy, it had been a while since he had been around a werewolf and his sense of being an alpha kicked in for a second. Using his other hand to tap himself in the forehead he tried to get the urge out of his head.

He turned back to the boy and smiled, it was nice to be around someone that was going through something similar to him but all in all Sebastian wanted to help the boy out. "The Cafeteria is just in the academy, if we go quickly I'm sure we will make it with no line." His stomach grumbled a bit at the thought of food, he let out a little chuckle to himself as he patted his stomach.

Hearing that they could get Chicken Nuggets brought a small smile on the boy's face, but even so his expression still seemed rather sad. When the other's stomach growled, the young wolf boy tilted his head similarly to a puppy reacting to a sound.

Now looking to the hand that was put out for him, Kirsten contemplated taking it. He didn't know this person that well, would it be alright to take his hand? Well, he seemed nice enough... Reaching his hand up, Kirsten grabbed a hold of he other's cautiously.

Taking the boys hand his eyes glowed for a second, but these weren't a glow of evil but more a glow of protection and maybe even a brotherhood. The eyes glowed a light blue instead of their normal yellow, he didn't know what it did but it was different in some way.

He began to walk towards the cafeteria holding onto the boys to hand,"Do you know what you are Kirsten?" He said nonchalantly, trying not to make too much of a big deal of the question. He was only a kid so Sebastian wanted to know as much as he could about what the kid knew.

Looking at his phone it seemed like the cafeteria would be finishing the lunch special in about 20 minutes so they had plenty of time.
