Ian lay with his feet on the bed, for the most part not worrying too much about cleaning the main room up. He didn't have a lot of stuff but he made a mess of most of it. Shoes tied together by the laces hanging off his bed, coat and other clothes thrown over the floor, both of the provided desks covered with flecks of paint, plastic bits, and scrap paper. Up To Me floated next to him in the exact same position, copying Ian's moves perfectly save for levitating in the air opposed to lying on the bed. "So, a roomie huh? " He shifted slightly, getting comfy and closing his eyes. "That'll end in tears..."

Up To Me, responding to Ian's thoughts, glided over to the door and unlocked it, turning the knob and opening it slowly before dissipating entirely. Ian started to hum loudly, some old tune by Yes he couldn't get out of his head as he waited for his new bestest buddy roomie to show up. This could only end in tears.

A blonde girl with dark brown eyes that wore a pair of denims and a plain lavender shirt was walking from the halls down to the dormitories, looking for a certain room. On her left hand, a handle that pulls a huge seagreen trolley bag. It didn't take long when she reached a certain room —- and interesting enough the door was open. Sena thought that her room mate must be waiting, and it'll be a pleasant welcome.

Peeking through the door first, Sena gasped in disbelief of seeing such an untidy room. Clothes and shoes and garbage were all over, to identify one from another would be quite a task. She took out the paper she was given earlier at the admissions to check if the room number she was in was the same one written on it —- and it was. She slowly entered the room and let her eyes wandered to allow herself to grieve on what type of dorm she was given. "Is this a room or a junk shop?" Then, her attention was caught by a guy lying on a bed. The blonde girl's mouth fell ajar, disbelieving what she was seeing.

"Y-you're my room mate?" The girl did not anticipate that she would be roomies with someone of the opposite gender.

Well then! Ian blinked a few times, looking up when he heard the voice.... to soft, too high, what kinda guy was he gunna get as a roommate? Oh. Oh wow. "Wait I'm your roommate?" Ian sat bolt upright, a look of shock on his face that melted into a sudden smile. One of those smiles you give when you're panicking but still feel you have to smile. "Hi!" He said the word almost as though it was all he could think of. It was all he could think of.

Ian suddenly scrambled out of bed. A pair of spectral arms with a metallic sheen forming and scooping his coat up off the floor, helping Ian into it as he got to his feet and held out his own hand (those ghostly ones seeming to have vanished completely) as he cleared his throat. "Hi! Hello, hi... I'm Ian, Ian Wakeman. I guess I'm... your Roomie." This was going to be very, very awkward.

That answered it. No wonder why the place was like this.

However, what actually puzzles Sena was the reasoning behind all of this. What on earth have happened to the people in the admissions office to allow a girl be living in the quarters with a guy? Didn't they know that it was quite...dangerous...aside from the fact that she could not live easy for months in such a place since there are things that were privately for girls only.

It seemed that the guy, whom introduced himself as Ian, was surprised as well, it was quite obvious on the way he acted upon seeing her and the way he smiled at her. Her left hand found its way to her nape, scratching it as if gesturing uneasiness. As Ian extended his hand, Sena stretched her right hand and smiled though it was easy to notice that she wasn't comfortable with the situation she was in now.

"Well...yeah I suppose we're really roommates. I'm Sena Park."

After a quick handshake, Sena quickly retrieved her hand. "So...uhm...where should I suppose to put my things? And my bed? Sorry, it's kinda...messy in here it's hard for me to notice things."

The girl began picking up things as she waited for Ian to answer, sorting trash away from the other usable items, while still clutching her bag on one hand.

Ian wasn't sure if the staff had a sick sense of humour or just a mild voyeurism streak. However he also wondered if he'd need to put a blanket up around his bed or set up a time-share around the room itself... The bathroom was going to become like the Federation/Romulan border... a not-so-neutral zone. Wait was she cleaning up his stuff?

"Hey-hey-hey-hey!" Ian quickly grabbed up some underwear off the ground and tucked it under one arm, those ghostly arms reappearing and grabbing the sorted clothes from out of Sena's arms, the rest of Up To Me quickly manifesting as though emerging from Ian's body. "Let me clean it up. Its my mess anyways." Up To Me moved fast as Ian worked from the center of the room, it was more throwing the mess onto one side of the room opposed to actually cleaning, save for the bed and desk opposite to what was becoming ian's side of the room. Up To Me worked with quickness and precision, carefully transplanting things from the desk and seemingly able to perfectly remove flecks of paint with his bare hand.

"Sorry about the mess... dammit." Ian sounded quite stressed but was doing a good job of keeping it in check as he hastily changed the sheets on what was probably going to be Sena's bed. Up To Me hastily removing the pillow covers and throwing them to the side as well.

Seeing that Ian has summoned a pair of ghastly hands to help him clean the mess around the room, Sena couldn't help but be shocked and amazed, almost envying her new room mate's ability. 'I could do a lot of things my condition hampered me from doing if I have those,' she thought. Since Ian said she should let him clean the mess, which was reasonable and logical since he was the one who did all of this in the first place, Sena just stood there and watched, while still contemplating on the issues that would arise due to this unlikely room tandem.

As soon as her beddings were replaced with fresh ones and all the trash were removed from her supposed corner in the room, with all the items that have been removed from the floor were thrown to a corner of Ian's side of the room, Sena neatly placed her back on top of the desk provided for them. Good thing there was also a closet provided by the school, she could neatly place her clothes and what-nots inside, those girly things needed to be away from the eyes of her room mate. While she was opening her bag and removing her belongings from it to transfer them to the closet, Sena began talking to Ian regarding their situation.

"I assume you already have thought that there would be...little problems regarding our stay here in the room. For one, I'm a girl and you're not. So I think we should really discuss them so we could live here harmoniously."

It took a while before more words were added, since she wanted to hear what the guy had in mind. After fixing her stuff, she closed her trolley bag and pushed them under her bed. She sat on the bed facing Ian. "First, do we need to put some sort of curtain between our beds? Second, the bathroom. I don't like it stinky and dirty and full of grime..."

She was eager to settle this as early as possible.

Ian nodded as Sena spoke. He was slowly losing his grasp on the conversation, his attention shifting but the basic point getting across. Privacy is needed. Ian walked towards the wall to the north, where the headboards of both the beds were facing. "Well here goes..." He braced his legs and leaned back a bit, the spectral image of Up To Me shimmering into view in full form. Long, sleek panels of ghostly metal and copper wiring glinting as a sheer image, a ghost of a machine. The two glassy eyes focused on a singular point on the wall as Up To Me thrust forward an open hand, fingers pointing forwards like a knife's blade as he drove them into the wall.

There came a sound like a flat chord from an electric guitar as what appeared to be an electrical surge ran from the arm of Up To Me into the wall, dancing over and through the material as the ghostly figure pulled back quickly, dragging the wall with it as though it was clay. Within seconds Ian began to walk backwards, Up To Me seeming to pull the wall as it glided backwards, keeping pace with Ian as the once-hard wall now moved like putty as they pulled it until it had formed a large wall separating off a large portion of the room for Sena.

"How's this?" Another flat-guitar noise as a large square formed, the floor flattening out and a somewhat crude doorframe forming as Ian walked into the enclosed room, taking up half the shared dormitory.
