The skies seemed to be a bit overcasted on this night, for not even the moon had pierced through them. It was certainly auspicious, but that was a latter note for Lumis, he really didn't care for something like that, rather he just wanted to enjoy his time outside the Academy, the lawn to be more precise. It was such a peaceful place, and he spent most of his time here. It was rather strange to see this black and red haired figure move across, especially only wearing pitch black dress pants, and a long sleeved white shirt, with a black vest over it. Not to mention that he was doing so, very casually. It was even more so strange to see that he wasn't scared by the fact that no light shown itself through the dark clouds making the air around them almost completely black.

Lumis began to smile though, this was only something that happened every so often. He began to look around, it was empty, there were no nobody around or anything of that sort. And right now, he was rather bored, he wanted to be able to have some fun. So pushing his hand forward, he began to think a little bit and then sat on a bench, waiting for something to happen. Of course he highly doubted that it would, so he thought it would be best to just give himself something to do, which he would often do. Looking around for an opening, in hopes to find something to relieve him of boredom he took on the form of a black alley cat and ascended quickly up a tree.

He would rush from tree to tree, searching around, his mind traveling from thought to thought. It was then that he figured he really should just kick back and relax a little as he reverted to human form, atop a tree. Things were getting hard on him, leaving his home a while back wasn't the smartest idea, but at least he wouldn't end up dying of obscene causes. That wouldn't be something he would want. After all he knew that he needed to live to continue, he needed to find his dear brother but he doubted he would.

Crowley’s hair was dripping wet from the dip she’d taken at the lake, and because of the lack of vision, she had not realized how late it had gotten. Her brown breeches fell just below her knees, along with the tunic sewn by her mother lay stuck to her skin accompanied by a few scarves around her neck. Her dark tail swished in the dark, it’s point treacherous. She hummed a small tune, as she rotated the brass cuffs on her wrists. The smell of grass wafted into her nose, and she figured she had reached the lawn.

Sensing the darkness, she started to manipulate the shadows as she walked. A few dark persons did a little jig as Crowley waved around a clawed finger, leading the figure. She grinned, happy with her little trick. The figures aligned, danced with each other to her whistling tune, and Crowley bobbed her head side to side enjoying herself.

Though, happy tidings came to a brief halt as she ran into an unsuspecting tree. “Ooof!” She cried, and held her face. She muttered a few curses, too extreme for such a recalling, and rubbed her forehead. “Not again…” She sat down, a bit petrified for the moment. When was she ever going to learn to use those darn sticks? Sticks were for blind losers! That’s what she always said. But then again, it was the blind losers who never ran into trees and avoided pretty little purple bruises, too.

A dark figure walked around the lawn. It was Mala, standing at her fullest height. Her fiery red hair seemed to stand out in the darkness, but so did her yellow long pancho to keep her warm, red cargoes, and a orange tank-top underneath the pancho. Red fingerless gloves, and red converses, and she was wearing a lot of jewelry, earrings, necklaces, rings. So, she stuck out in the night, anyone would be able to notice her walking about.

She was minding her own business, which was nothing, when she noticed a cat scurrying up a tree. She ignored it, and walked on, then stopped, to adjust the acoustic guitar that was slung on her back. She had went to town earlier with Lazarus, to have some fun while he was here, so they both went out to the city and played in the park a while. When they decided to stop, it was dark, he went to the place he was staying at, while she came back to the academy she attended.

She show a girl who ran into a tree, and didn't even notice the shadow things that had been dancing. Mala laughed silently under her breath, but soon stopped, as she walked towards the girl.

"You alright?" Mala asked, standing not to far away.

Lumis simply sat at the top of this tree lifelessly waiting for something to happen. Little did he know that there were indeed people around. He wouldn't know, and he couldn't tell from the darkness of the night. Piercing ruby red eyes scouted the surrounding area. At this time of night he could only see what was in front of him, which wasn't much anyway. It was then that he heard something then looked down below, a girl. She had just run into the same tree in which he stood. A bit startled by this, Lumis leaped down, nearly losing his footing as he landed. "Hey uhh, you okay there?" he asked.

It was at that moment in which he heard yet another voice in the midst. He looked around in search of the noise, then noted something shiny, like jewelry of sorts. Unsure if that was just another person here or what, Lumis stood there in confusion. "Umm, is anyone else here?" he called out to whoever or whatever. Once again, his curiosity got the best of him.

"Hey uhh, you okay there?" , "You alright?"

Crowley raised an eyebrow, and grumbled to herself. Great, way to be a blind girl and run into stuff in front of people. She shrugged, "besides my headache, I'll live." She rubbed her forehead, continuing to grumble. "Who are you?" She twisted the ends of her sweater in-between her forefinger and thumb. She turned her head awkwardly, towards the other source of sound. "And you?"

She kind of bit her tongue at the deeper voice asking if someone else was there. Well, obviously because of the other pitch, even a blind girl could see that. Metephorically speaking of course.

Crowley sat against the tree, hopefully that would prevent any other head injuries that might decide to come her way. She crossed her arms, took a deep breath, and waited for the two nutheads to figure out what was going on. She chewed on her thoughts for a moment, a bit bitter from hitting her head.

Slowly, Mala came towards them, out of the darker shadows. She stared at the boy who had jumped from the tree, but hardly paid him much mind. She looked at the girl, who seemed to be blind. She felt bad, for the girl, Mala believed it must be terrible to be blind. Whenever she thought about it, she imagine how much others missed out on all the beautiful colors. She tore herself from those thoughts, and glanced at the boy a moment.

The girl had asked who they were, and Mala stayed silent a moment, though, no real reason. Many knew her name, well, those who know of her small band, but then again, not many have heard of her band.

"I'm Malayia Kane." She said simply, pulling a strand of red hair behind her ear.

Tremor

Tremor dug herself out of her tunnel. It was a short one and there was a hole somewhere by a tree, but that didn't matter. She lifted her head from the burrow and with her hind-eyes peeked about. She saw three figures standing in the dark, though to her, they were clear as day. She got up, out of the hole and walked as quietly as she could towards them on all fours.

Her tail swished gently behind her, and her rattish front feet gripped lightly at the damp grass. Her hoofs slipped lightly on the grass here and there making soft squeaking noises. The soft breeze ruffled the ridge of fur on her back as if to say 'good job on making that tunnel!' She smiled silently to herself, it was a primitive smile, lean and filled with the lust of the hunt, the thrill of work, and the pleasure of knowing she had done a good job.

When she was about five feet away, she let out a soft purrgrowl, letting her presence be known in case they had not heard her previously. She didn't stop however, and unless they called out for her to stop, she would walk right up to them stand up on two legs and peer down at them. Her orange-red eyes glowed softly, but the glow was strong enough to light part of her face on either side.
