She didnt say anything. Whatever she had been about to say was stopped when the button fell. Suddenly the top and bottom of the tings on her ear made a clicking sound. On her other ear the circle seemed to slide into the metal. Then it did something, it opened.

The things looked like a birds beak, inside was indeed her ears. It was actually a suprise about her ears, that were indeed there. They had both been cut, so instead of being round, they were pointed. Much like what was done to a species of dogs.

This happened in a mater of seconds, and when the button clatered on the hard floor, eyes opened wide. She attempted to clamp her hands over her ears nd curled into the fetal position.

For her, things around her, sound multiplied. So that small clattering sound hurt her ears. The wind arose around her. It circled her and pushed at anything near her, like a cyclone. Anything that could be moved fell and that hurt her ears even more, strengthening the wind.

At that time it was made clear what was maknig the wind. It was Tamesis, but she didnt know it then.

It had all happened so fast that Dean just stood there, not sure at all what to do or say. his eyes were stuck staring at Taemsis' ears...or what he had though were her ears but then found out they weren't her ears when he'd dropped that small button.

The other little things on her ear began making a weird clicking sound, but he had no idea what was going on with her other ear. In only a matter of seconds, her 'ears' went from appearing normal to ears that were pointed.

Suddenly she'd clamped her hands over her ears and switched to the fetal position. Dean wanted to help her somehow, but then he was pushed by by a large wind, slamming into the wall behind him and fitting the floor with a thug,He opened his eyes and stared at Tamesis; she was causing the wind. He hadn't realized it, until now, and he was guessing she didn't know until now either.

He tried moving closer to her, but was unable for the wind was getting stronger, pinning him against the wall. It took him a few moments before he remembered about his power. With a matter of seconds he'd teleported himself inside the cyclone and held onto her, pulling down her hands from her ears, hoping she'd stop.

She didnt wish to hurt him, but the sounds HURT. She could hear everything going around them. Yelling of people outside steps of people inside. Objects being moved. Every sound was far away, yet she heard it and it hurt. Eyes were clmped shut and tears fell from it, quickly pulled by the wind.

She didnt realized what she had done and didnt open her eyes till she felt his hands trying to pull her hands from her ears. When she looked at him, he could easily see how scared and in pain she was.

"It hurts.." She whispered and refused to have her hands removed. That wold make things louder, if even by the smallest means.

Dean looked at Tamesis. He could tell partially what she was going through, that it hurt. He'd figured that with her 'new' ears she could hear between or something, so no wonder she was covering them up; she wanted to block the sounds.

He wasn't sure what to do. The only thing he was sure of was not wanting to fly off into the wall again, and for that not to happen, he had to calm her down. She looked at him, and he could instantly see how frightened she was, and how much it hurt, so he continued to try and pull down her hands, gently so that it didn't seem forced."I know it hurts...but you calm down..." Dean said this slowly so that she could tell he meant it all in a good way. He spoke in a soft tone, a little higher than a whisper "Listen to me...only me, ignore everything else..." The only thing running through his mind was Please let this calm her down...

Hair whipped up around her but she didnt pull it away from her face. She could still see him. When he tried to pull her hands away this time she didnt stop him. The wind seemed to lose a tad of its force, though was still stronger than would be wise to try to stand in. When he spoke it was the loudest sound, and she winced.

Amber eyes watched him in an unblinking stare, almost owlish. She looked younger than before and soon lowered her hands to rest clenched on her knees. The wind died slowly, till it just had enough force to pull at you, but not throw you.

Face paled and tears still ran unchecked. She said nothing to him, concintrating more on trying to ignore the sounds around her, seeing as that seemed to cause the winds.

Dean had absolutely no idea on what t do. He knew by now that her hearing was extremely sensitive. He'd just spoken to her in practically a whisper and she winced. He had to either speak a lot lower, or take her somewhere where there was absolutely zero noise. But where?

He could feel the wind die down a bit, but not completely, and her cheeks were still stained with running tears. This time, he spoke to her, but it a one that was so low it was inaudible for him - even more lower than a whisper - , and hopefully not too loud for her. "Where do you want to go?" He asked her. Hopefully she would answer him, giving him an answer so he could help her out. He needed to.

When he asked her where she wanted to go she just looked at him. She knew of no place where there was no sound, a place she wanted to go to. Instead a hand rose again to her ears, this time examining her actual ears. Having amnesia she knew nothing of what was under, so when these opened she had the chance to find out.

Both were cut, and cleanly healed. She thought of something then.Something that might dull sounds until she could figure out what to do next. She spoke, her own voice just loud enough for him to hear. "Water dulls sound."

She spoke! Tamesis had given him an answer. Her voice was low, but loud enough for him to hear.

"Water dulls sound."

Water...watter...The lake! He could take her to the lake! Dean made his way over so that he was directly in front of her and looked at her straight in the eyes. If he was going to teleport them to the lake, he needed, wanted to make sure that she was okay with it. He took a deep breath before asking. If she said yes, then it'd be his first time ever teleporting more than just himself somewhere. He'd be teleporting her as well. Using the same tone of voice as before, he asked, "Do you want me to teleport you to the lake?"

Seeing how serious he seemed worried her. She wondered why he seemed like that before he finally asked her. She had though he was worried about getting around all the people they would pass before geting there. No, it was to question if it was ok for him to teleport her!

She nodded, hoping he would be able to. A question fell through her head. Had he ever teleported another? She did not ask, just slowly stood up. The wind was almost completely gone, and she looked slightly more tired than was probably good for a person.

Before he could telelport her though, another thought came to her. One of much more importance. "The button. Might need it." Voice still was low, but held ergency.

Dean gave her a smile and stood up when she did, being as quiet as possible with his moving and breathing so it wouldn't hurt her in any way. He was about to get ready to teleport them when she spoke again. The button. He'd completely forgotten about the button that had come of her ear and caused the whole thing.

He quickly looked around the room for the button, but couldn't find it. he got back down on his knees and began searching for it. He'd sighed with relief when he found it underneath a fallen chair. He went back to Tamesis' side and said in a low voice, "Hold on tight..."

He took several deep breaths before convincing himself that he was ready and that he could do this. He looked at her for a nod or an okay sign to make sure she was ready to go as well.
