Small dust motes rose in the air, disturbed by the steps of a person. The person was a girl, sitting near a window. She had found a chair stable enough to hold her weight, even if it wasnt much. Dirty blonde hair fell to the floor, curled slightly because she sat. Her outfit was a black dress, the same one she had been found in. She had been given boots so she was no longer barefoot like before. Amber eyes looked out the window, watching those who were relaxing in the suns light and goofing off in the sun. She hummed lightly to herself, though the song was not of any one could recognize unless they asked.

Dean walked aimlessly around the dark hallway. The floor was musty and covered in dust. One hand was stuffed deep in his dark denim jeans. He was wearing a simple black collared shirt and black combat boots. His other hand was up, scratching his head. He was bored, and there was nothing for him to do. He passed a dirty window and saw several students outside in the hot sun having fun. He shrugged, not in the mood to be outside and simmer.
As he walked he spotted someone else in the hallway. It was a girl and she was just sitting in a chair, staring out the window. Dean walked up to her and found a chair right next to her. "Mind if I sit?"

Turning she looked at who spoke, humming stopped. Seeing the guy a hand went up to the odd things at her ear, as id unconciously trying to hide them. Giving a nod she anwsered. "I dont. Its not my place to stop someone anyway." Voice was soft and hesitant sounding.

Dean sat down and notcied that the girl's hand flew up to her ear. He could tell tehre was something behind her hand, but he didn't ask or continue to wonder what exactly it was. He sighed lightly and looked over at the girl. "I'm Dean, by the way."

She gave a smile as he gave his name. She spoke, voice not as hesitant sounding. "My name's Tamesis. Its nice to meet you." Amber eyes were fully on him, forgetting about the window. REalizing he probably thought she was staring she turned her head back to the window, hand returning to her lap.

Tamesis, that was an interesting name. "It's nice to meet you too," Dean said, looking at her with his icy-blue eyes, as did she with her big amber ones. She turned back t the window after a few seconds, but Dean lingered a little bit longer, before doing the same."So...why aren't you outside?"

Turning back to him she tried to think of an anwser she could put to words. Finally thinking something up she anwsered truthfully, seeing no reason she should lie to a boy who was rightfully in this school.

"I am not like them. Im not suppose to be here really. Someone found me near here and then took me here. The nurse said I could stay until we found where I belonged." Voice held a slight sadness that probably would not go away for a long time, if it ever did.

Dean listneed carefully to Tamesis, but when she finished, he was just plain confused. Not like them? Not supposed to be here? He tried thinking about what she ment. By 'Not like them' she could possibly mean that she has a different power than the rest, which wouldn't be weird, because everyone has a unique power. But 'Not supposed to be here'? It's like she was saying that she snuck into the school or something.

"I'm sorry...but I don't quite understand. What do you mean by 'not supposed to be here'? Did you wander into here or something?" He knew that was sort of a qierd question to ask, but he was curious and besides, what else was he supposed to think?

She shook her head, then pulled hair from her face which had fallen there when she moved. Guessing he hadnt understood the someone findi ng her she anwsered his question. "Theres no reason to be sorry. No, I was found by someone from this school. I dont have any powers, thats why I dont belong."

She looked at her hands for a moment before turniung atention back to him. A hand rose again to touch the thing over where her ears should be as she thought.

Dean nodded, finally understanding what she had meant. He felt kind of stupid, in some way, about how he didn't think of that before.
"But, for all you know, you could have powers, you just haven't figured out what exactly it is." He gave her a small smile, being on the optimistic side, which was odd for a him. Either way, for all he knew, Tamesis really could have powers, but he couldn't truly know.

He noticed that she had brought her hand back up to her ear. Again, he didn't say anything, because mainly, he didn't really know how to particularly ask about it.
