Thinking in SILENCE

He just waded in the water, both thinking of what to do next but at the same time waiting for her to tell him 'okay' or something. When she gave him a nod, he nodded back and waited for her as she swam a little closer to him.

She didn't swim up to him completely, but left some space between them, most likely she was making sure he was ready or not. "Wait..." he said "maybe we should go back to dry land. You know, so that if the button falls, we won't loose it."

Dean smiled and began swimming beside her back to dry land. When he reached shore he pulled himself out of the water and sat down, removing the small button from his soaked jean pocket.

He was amazed how much destruction a small button could cause. He played with the button between his fingers and waited for her to get ready.

He nodded and moved closer to her. His hands were slightly shaking; either from the cold or his nerves...or both. He stopped and took a moment to calm himself down. "Okay, let's do this."

He leaned in close to her 'ear' and put the button back, then did the same on the other ear and waited. Not knowing what to expect. "Anything?"

Dean watched carefully after he'd put the buttons back in place. He wasn't sure what to expect, but when she'd said that she felt much better, he was relieved.

He gave her a big toothy smile and was a little surprised when she hugged him. Though he didn't know her extremely well, he could tell that wasn't something she normally did. "There's no reason to be sorry," he said, and this time, it was he who hugged her.

Dean looked at Tamesis and gave a small smile. He shrugged saying, "It's no problem, really." He sat there for a moment, looking form Tamesis to the lake's water and said, "I'm glad I'd decided to wander the hallways today."

After that comment, Dean had no idea what else to say. it was like, the entire time they'd been together, was because he was helping her. But now that he'd finished helping, he didn't know what else to do.
