Russia. His database immediately brought up a map of a large expanse of land, mostly cold and further up north. Lots of woodland, lots of snow, but a few developed cities, too. Definitely not like home, or at least, he didn't think so. There was sure a lot of metal, but it wasn't like it coated everything in a fine, shimmery film.

"Not Russia, nor an industrial freezer." But good try! Oh, well, not a great one, but... He blinked at the various birds that clustered around them, gawking up at them. Well, then...

"Alright, alright," Avian gave up.

Although she was still very curious. That last hint made it all the more interesting! If humans couldn't go there, did that mean he actually was a ghost? The girl sighed and mentally scolded herself to stop trying to guess. Yesterday probably didn't want to discuss it anyway.

"Well, I gotta get back to sea shell collecting," she said as she picked up her pail, "Maybe I'll see you around the island again? That'd be great!"

She gave him a smile and started to head back out to shore, her little gulls scuttling after her. A few stayed behind to study Yesterday a bit more, staring at him strangely before hurrying off to catch up with Avian.

(ooc: hey do you want to wrap up this thread here and schedule another one? Pm me if you do, and we can start plotting!)
