Sofia opened the dishwasher and set the plates inside next to last night's dinner plate. There was a perk to living with only one other person who wasn't around all the time - less dishes to do, less to clean up after...though it did get awfully lonely. Having Riley over was nice company. Perhaps it was a little sad that the best company she could get right now was a child...but she tried not to see it that way.

She listened quietly to the noises coming from the bathroom - it sounded like Riley was tearing up the tissue paper. She heard the sink turn on and off briefly. It was both a blessing and a curse to have that werewolf hearing...while she wanted to give Riley her privacy, it was difficult not to pay attention to the odd sounds. What was she doing in there?

Sofia put the bread and peanut butter back in the pantry, returned the jam to the fridge, and was wiping down the counter with a wet paper towel by the time Riley returned from the bathroom. "Everything okay?" she asked, raising a brow.

"Y-yeah. I'm fine. It's nothing." Riley sighed. Maybe she should have flushed all the TP instead of putting it in the trash. Then the evidence would be gone when Sofia went back in there later.

She sat back down in her seat form earlier. "And thanks for... the candy and the sandwich and everything. By the way." Those were the reasons why Riley couldn't bring herself to mess up the place. She also didn't want to admit to herself that she was ashamed of herself.

Sofia shrugged it off and tossed the paper towel in the trash can. "You're very welcome," the young woman smiled. "I like to think that building good karma is always a good idea. And besides that, at least I made a friend. I get pretty lonely, I haven't met many people since I came here. Mostly I just see Caius and he isn't even around that often because of his work."

"Why don't I drive you back to campus? We should probably get you back before you're missed, and if anyone asks where you've been, I don't mind covering for you." Sofia grabbed some keys that were hanging on a hook in the kitchen. Caius wouldn't mind if she borrowed the car. It would probably be a little far to walk all the way to school and back, though she was thinking more of Riley's sake than her own.
