Ian lay in the courtyard, sprawled out on a bench with his legs crossed and his arms behind his head. The clouds were moving along, how could they be so damn quick yet look like they're moving so slow? Stupid lazy clouds. With a little squirming and shimmying, Ian turned until he was sitting upside down, head hanging down and feet kicking idly. For a moment Up To Me shimmered into view, copying Ian and seemingly half-there, his left side fading into Ian's right before vanishing completely. "Why is this so comfy?"

It felt strangely natural, sitting upside down and just kicking his legs, watching the funny people-shapes walking by completely inverted. How do they not fall into the blue expanse? why are girl's skirts not suddenly raising, to their horror? Why are those trees growing down? Ian couldn't help but grin, stifling a chuckle at the absurdity of it all. Once again Up To Me seemed to appear, his two arms fading in and placing their hands on the bench. There came a sudden sound like a someone dragging a violin bow across an out of tune electric guitar and what appeared like a pulse of electricity leaping and weaving through the bench.

Ian kicked his legs, the bench itself suddenly twisting, warping. He felt the ground beneath his feet as the bench twisted to deposit him on his feet, the middle having twisted entirely backwards and allowing him to get up. The bench itself was almost entirely useless now, the middle being the only part that could still be sat upon and the rest of it bent out of shape as Ian stuck his hands in his coat pockets and started to walk towards the school building. "Probably something I should be doing, someone's probably dropping the ball somewhere, as always..."

Tellios was walking around, mainly for no reason at all. Trying to figure out what to do for the day, he was 'skipping' all his classes, but he had a few nanites in each class in order to retrieve information, store it and go back home to interpret the information and gain more from the wireless network. He tried to find out what to do when he saw a bench with someone on it twist and turn, seeing.. What he thought was something appear and disappear and reappear as is. He raised an eye brow and started to scan the area, seeing a faint outline of some... Being behind the man who is now standing up. He kept himself hidden some what, a nanite was on the side of a tree that he was keeping a video feed from to watch anything.

He didn't care if he was seen, he leaned up against the tree out of sight from the person now standing. He was trying to find out what to do with this person, it was new to him and new to what ever was going on as is. He rubbed his chin and tried to get as much outside information as possible through watching. It wasn't much but it would do.

He wasn't about to open himself to talking to the person just yet, he wanted to see how he walked, talked and what ever else it was he did. He seemed like an interesting person as is, but Tellios' IQ is the space from here to the moon. He wanted to see what would happen next, if he was seen or not.

Ian walked towards the school again. He didn't seem to see Tellios, but was walking his direction. "Hehehe, stupid bench." Ian looked over his shoulder, then back ahead after confirming he had, in fact, fucked up the bench proper. He slid his hands into his pockets, Up To Me becoming a hazy field around Ian, milimeters above his skin like a sheen. As he walked he grinned to himself, humming some old tune he had heard somewhere before. He walked past the tree, seemingly not seeing Tellios as he kept going... Back towards the main building?

Was Ian heading back already? He was taking his time but he was heading back towards the main building for sure, turning as he drew closer to the path and lining up with it. If Tellios wanted another demonstration of that power he'd need to act quick!

Tellios smirked as he watched the man walk by, he thought he saw something, though he wasn't sure on what it was. Even then he decided to ask about the chair, he pushed off the tree, the nanite returning into his flesh, his body more like it.

"That chair put up on hell of a fight. Surprised you didn't get a splinter on you."

He tried to scan around this man who was walking by him and ignored him after making that bench his dirty little whore for a few moments, leaving it a twisted wreck on the ground with out even taking it to dinner. It wasn't something interesting he didn't see anything ruin it. That was it. He wanted information.

"Someone else can fix it, or call it modern art and give me money."

There were barbs in Ian's tone, an arrogance that dripped from him. Ian turned to face the guy speaking to him, spinning on his heel slightly as he did. Someone else with a spare block or someone skipping class? They seemed jealous of Ian's benchtwisting abilities. Woe befall the bench that challenges the great and terrible Ian Wakeman. That wasn't why this guy was here, though. Something told Ian this individual wasn't here just to defend benches near and far.

"I take it there's more to this than you just wanting to compliment my bench-crafting. Out with it then."

Ian's hands remained in his pockets but his shoulders shifted, rolling back slightly as he shifted his feet. He was bracing himself. Ian expected something, some kind of attack, something more than a sassy rebuttal as he tilted his head down. Up To Me hovered close to the surface, once again partially visible just behind him, like a fuzzy shadow looming millimeters away from him.

Tellios almost raised an eye brow, if what he made was 'art' then he would have to do something to humanity with their own buildings and call them 'art'. Though that wasn't here nor there. The fact that this man had been able to wreck the bench with out touching it interested Tellios more than anything.

Many different scenarios went into Tellios's mind. All of them seemed illogical. Though a spectral component, though defying all logic with in Tellios did seem to have merit. Giving it some thought he decided to answer his question.

"I am more interested in you for the reason on how you did not touch the bench in order to destroy it." Tellios spoke, even then he went one. "Judging by the fact that it is behind you. It must be spectral in origin."

He was thinking that this man would explain it, or give Tellios a show of force. To figure this out. To see what he could do to interpret such power into his own. He wanted to find a way to create one, he needed to scan this, but he needed to find a way to hold it down. He was sure that this man wouldn't let Tellios just cover it with Nanites to scan it, though would literally take seconds to do to cover and scan, there must be some way.

"...You're way too into this, you know?"

Ian shrugged, keeping his hands in his pockets, Up To Me fading away, becoming invisible, dormant once more. He didn't need to show off outside what he already did, he didn't need to throw more little shows out there. Why keep showing off for this guy when he's so into it? For a while Ian thought about his ego, how this guy had shown an odd curiosity towards his power, a lot like someone else he knew.

Ah hell with it, why not make a friend? Ian pulled a hand out of his pocket and stepped closer to Tellios, holding his hand out and smiling at him. It wasn't an overly warm smile but it was a friendly one, about as friendly a smile as Ian could normally give. His voice had a softer tone to it, the edge on it not so readily apparent as he offered a humble handshake.

"Name's Ian. What're you in here for? I got brought here 'cuz I have the power to make benches interesting."

"Maybe so. Different abilities are everywhere with in this place. It's just fascinating."

Tellios looked at the man who called himself 'Ian' thought it did seem like a real name he didn't pull his hands out of his pocket at all. Almost as if they were glued there. It didn't bother Tellios but it did seem that this man didn't care much for proper greetings.

"Tellios. For destroying and escaping a Lab." Tellios wasn't wrong. Though he WAS implying that he did destroy it. He did it cyberneticly. Taking all the information and planting many bugs in the system that it work still take years for them to find.

Telling saw the extended hand. He grabbed it and held a firm handshake for a moment then slowly pulled his away.

Slowly and surely Tellios turned to the bench and he admired the truth of Ian's statement. That was interesting with in some form of way, Tellios began to scan the man, adding in blank information where he saw fit with in a 'Bio page' inside of himself.

"Destruction of Property, huh? Dang, I didn't know we had any real criminals in here."

Ian's eyebrow raised as he spoke. He was just talking to this guy in passing but now... So the guy had committed some large degree of destruction. Had he reveled in it, Ian thought to himself, or was it an emotional outburst turned rampage? This would change how Ian viewed Tellios, once as though he was another student but now with concern, wariness.

"So is this place just a prison for freaks like us? Some kinda superjail?"

He looked at the main building again, his own thoughts put into motion now. Maybe instead of being trained to use his powers, the staff were marking the progression of them, and instead of being allowed to graduate and leave the students were disposed of when enough information was gathered on them?

Nah, that's dumb. This guy just came here for his own safety or something. Ian scratched his chin though, how'd he go about doing it?

"Criminal, maybe. That is debatable. I like to think myself as a... Saboteur."

Tellios smirked a bit. The wind caught his hair and started to move it a bit. He started to get some Nanites move across the ground to start making traps along the ground. Nothing Major just simple traps just in case. Some where just to hold his feet to the ground and some where to cause a disturbance as if someone else was there. He could see in his own mind what looked like security cameras.

It didn't take much to do and they just awaited to be pushed. Waited to be set off.

"Maybe, more of a... School than a jail. Or some kind of Lab Experiment. That would be a real kick in the balls."

He looked over at Ian at the corner of his eyes. Even then. He gave it some time to sink in. He wanted to try and find out what it was that allowed the spectral force to be around. he couldn't see much of it. Even if that was it he needed more information. How he controlled it. What was going on with it, he couldn't not see it fully. Just what looked like to be a feint outline of something.. Larger than the man here. Some guardian spirit?

"So tell me, what are you? Spectral analysis says you have some kind of.. Spirit attatched to you."
