These are a few of my favorite things

Laila walked silently to the beach. She was bored out of her mind and had nothing better to do. She sat down on a small chair and sighed. She was bored and alone. Her wings folded up without even thinking about it.

"Will someone please come? I am so alone..." Laila asked no one in particular. She sighed again. Her friend Kody was bugging her and her parents were driving her insane! She just had to escape.. but... she didnt have many friends besides Kody.. so she didnt really know what to do

"Oh, Hello..." Laila said. The girl scared her a little, but she calmed herslef down quickly. SHe pulled her wings closer and sighed.

"I am Laila, whats your name?" She asked. She was so bored and alone she might as wel try to talk to the girl. She turned in her chair and looked at the girl. She looked really excited to talk, so Laila was going to be polite.

LAila stared at the girl in utter disbelief. No one had said so much stuff in such a small amount of time. She sighed and began to answer the questions.

"Okay, I do go to the Academy. I love having Wings. My name is Laila. Any more questions?" Laila asked, trying her best not to sound annoyed. SHe sighed and smiled a friendly smile. She tightened her wings against her back out of sheer habit.

She looked sad for a moment, and Laila felt terrible. She sighed and looked at the girl.

"Whats wrong? Oh, I am sorry if I sounded annoyed. I dont mean it. I just.... you know...I am not really used to having people talk to me... Usually people leave me alone." Laila said as she looked at the girl. She relly felt bad.
