"I will totally use my powers for good and help you with your homework." Delaney said. Using her powers just for herself was selfish, this was helping others! It was a win win all around. It wasn't like her or Lycia's teachers could accuse them of anything. With books it'd be hard to prove she used her powers for info. Unless, like, the teachers knew exactly what information she had to forget to learn from the books.

"I love exploring the island. There's so much cool stuff to experience! Like, all the magic shops and the weird stores. And like, all the restaurants and cafes." So many ethnic foods people brought over from their home countries or planets. Manta Carlos was a huge upgrade from her little middle of nowhere town.

"I'm glad I meet you too," Delaney said, not blushing at all. Nope. But she was incredibly pleased to be making new friends. Then she flinched at the sound of the school bag hitting the floor, and for a moment wondered what it was. Lycia moved to the floor and Delaney joined her. It must have been the girl's bag that she heard. "We'll find it." Delaney said.

She got down on her hands and knees and felt around for anything that shouldn't be on the floor. "Oh! Ow." Delaney had crawled right into a chair and hit her head on the hard wood. She rubbed her head and got back to searching. Though, a little more carefully this time. Delaney found a couple things, all with strange textures or shapes that she struggled to identify. She brought each item back to Lycia and placed it before the other girl.

"Okay. Anything we're missing? I got just about everything that was under the table I think. Unless something went way far off." Which, would be super annoying for the two blind girls. Georgette wasn't much help either as the dog wasn't trained to pick up random objects.

Delaney tilted her head at the mention of a caterpillar, but shrugged it off. "Never much liked bugs myself." She said with a barely repressed shiver. Bugs were just plain gross and annoying. Especially now when she couldn't see them coming. "But yeah, a squished bug does not sound pleasant. All that bug goo everywhere."

Delaney made one last quick search around them. Just to make sure they got everything. "Well, we gave it our best shot." Delaney ruffled Georgette's ears, and together the two made it back into their chairs. "Ugh, well, that was fun distraction but we better do our school work before it gets late." Yes, what a drag, but it gave Delaney an idea. "We should totally have study nights. You can visit my dorm, or I'll visit yours."
