Event Private There be Sphinxs, There Be Dragons

He'd picked up the scent right away, entering the forest and making his way towards it. He could have shifted and flown but he felt like a run, even if he was hoping to get a fight soon. Finally he'd come to the clearing the scent was strong, she was close, right ahead.

The young dragon would poke his head into the clearing and glancing around until he spotted her. Not that it was hard to find the large sphinx woman. He'd step out, waving and giving a wave to her. "Hello," his nose would twitch as it continued to pick up the various scents. "You here hunting?" he'd ask curiously.

Eein would step a bit closer, "happy I ran into you." He found the sphinx interesting, a powerful and large divine being who served the gods of Egypt.

His new friend was certainly unique, different from anyone he knew, that made her intriguing. "Eager is a good word for it" he'd ask with a playful smirk, "I've been itching for a good spar and well, you seemed fun to spar with."

"Guessing you'd prefer I shift," he'd say with a chuckle, shifting he'd go into a size that was eight feet tall. "How big you want me?" he'd ask, his tail swaying a bit behind him as he stretched for the fight, flashing a small grin.

Eein would circle to the right a bit, his tail, claws, everything readying for the spar. "Ready?" he'd ask playfully.

"Oh I think you'll find that my vigor will outlast yours," he'd say playfully, a challenge in his voice. "We'll get to see if you can keep up with me Ankh," he'd sat with a chuckle that sounded like half a growl thanks to his current form.

With a hum he'd raise himself to ten feet, half what his full size was, he'd grow mode further into the fight if needed. "I'm no wyrmling," he'd continue his circle, his claws, fangs, everything ready for the fight ahead.

"Oh, I'm always ready," he'd spring forward, running at her, a charge. Then as they neared his wings would go down, being him up, a surprise air attack, his front claws lashing out at his sparring partner.

The young dragon would chuckle, he was already having fun. "Don't worry, we're just getting started," he'd lunge forward, his right claws slashing.

As he slashed he'd twist, releasing a small burst of blue fire. This fire was a distraction, it's leave a light frost on her if it made contact.

The true attack came from his tail, sweeping from behind, going right for her.

Eein felt her stomp on his tail, pinning it down. So he'd shrink, down to six foot, his tail becoming considerably shorter. His sphinx opponent would find the tail gone from under her foot.

He'd then lunge at her, both his front limbs coming up to uppercut her, his wings flapping down to add to his speed. As he made the attack he'd instantly grow back up to ten feet.

The young dragon wasn't using his full size just yet. No, he was planning on using it as a surprise if needed.
