Kacey smiled she couldn't hold it back, "There you go again. Making me feel guilty. What's wrong with you?" She said, throwing a flower at him and from where she was laying it didn't make it very far.
Ian didn't smile, but if she wouldn't feel guilty about it, he would be, for now he kept it to himself. He looed up through the tree tops and could vaugly see strands of sunlight coming through.
"So what now?" Kacey said, still pulling off the petals and smiling as she did, she once again was coming to the answer she wanted to hear, in her little flower game.
"Ok, I want to stay here." Kacey said continuing picking off the petals, "That um other day when I was saying all that weird stuff about the lake and everything.....it was a lie. Just thought you should know. I still like it very much." She said.
"Yeah well, I didn't mean any of it. I was just......." Kacey paused at the word she didn't really want to say. "I was ok fine I was jealous there I said it."
"You didn't have to be, you knew I liked you more." he said, "I only met her a few days ago, there was no way I was going out with her right away before I even knew her." he said.
