The Wanderer

Ithen broke through the line of trees to the large clearing in the center of the forest. It had taken quite a while to reach the place, but someone had mentioned it to him, so he felt he should see it for himself.
Walking to the middle of it, he looked around him, hoping something interesting would come into view.
With a sigh, he sat crosslegged on the ground. It was frightfully evident that there was nothing of interest in this clearing.
Blowing some hair out of eyes he thought, Well, so much for that.
He rolled his eyes, then layed on his back and closed his eyes.

His eyes opened quickly as he heard the sound.
For a few moments he thought it was his stomach making the noise, but when he glanced infront of him he saw the wolf.
Then, jumping up he said, 'Woah, nice doggy. What did I do?'
He slowly back up a few paces, then stood facing the wolf.

Ithen took the hint, and lightly patted her on the head, wondering what was going on. Then, when he heard the wolf mumble something, he paused and said,
'Um, did you just say something to me?'

'Oh, well I 'm sorry if I disturbed you.' He smiled and said, 'So, you're a student? I never would have guessed. And you can turn into other animals?' He bowed and said, 'I am awed to be in the presense of such a powerful person.' Glancing back up at her he raised an eyebrow and said, 'My name's Ithen by the way.'

He shrugged, 'Water, and some freezing of time. I'm better at the first then the latter. But meh, it can be interesting.' He turned outward so he could look around them once again. Giving the area another chance to show it was interesting.
