The unknown meeting

Mikael was so bored, he had been bored for such a long time now. Nothing ever happened around him, not that he wanted things to happen but he really hated to be bored. He hated his own life because he refused to die away from everything, he hated the fact that he could not have any friends because he was going to outlive them all and still be as young as he was now. He had seen it happen before many times in the past....but no more! He was not going to get close to anyone at all and if the only way for him to do so was to become hated by all others then he was going to do it.

Mikael had found this part of the school pretty quickly, the part that never was used and few ever got here so it was perfect for him to go when he wanted to be away from everything and just think. Right now he was standing in an old empty classroom with his eyes closed, he was taking slow deep breathes and was holding a sword in his left hand. He made a slahing move though the air followed by a serie of cuts and stabbes. To train with the blade or his hand and feet made him relax, a good way for him to forget about his hate towards himself. To just live for the moment so to speak. But then again it was not the same if one did not have anyone to train with. Mikael stopped with what he was doing and sighed slightly before he walked over to the desk in front of the classroom and placed the sharp blade on the surface.

((This most likely sucked much but hey.....It is better then a few others I have done in the past. :P ))

Rive walked about the school with his normal air of supremacy. His mask was fixed to his face as usual, his one eye peering out into the world. In his pocket was his blade and his companion. Once again, the blade was murmuring about how they had not caused pain to anyone in awhile, something the small blade could not stand. While the blade was about the size of one's middle finger at the moment, the blade could change size at a blink of an eye. Not only that but the blade could also communicate with the wielder who happened to be Rive.

With this blade, who had traveled through the world since the late feudal period in Japan, Rive was much more powerful and incredibly dangerous. The teenager had centuries of sword knowledge when ever he grasped the blade or had it on his person. While Rive was not that grand of a swords master, the blade transferred knowledge in the midst of combat so that Rive could keep up with many of the best swordsman.

Rive opened the door to the forlorn room, the area where he always practiced his powers. However, today another man stood in the room who was also caring a blade. While the other man would not see Rive's blade, Rive was already planning a sparing match, even if this other patron did not want too.

Mikael heard the sound of the door as Rive arrived to the room, the boy calmly looked towards him over his shoulder. His red eyes scanned him for a split second but then he frowned slightly and he looked back at his sword. Mikael did not say anything since he did not have anything to say, he did not care who this new little boy was. Not at all really, but he got a weird feeling from him for some reason, but for now he ignored the feeling.

He picked up the blade again and looked at it for a moment before he shook his head slightly and dropped it onto the table again. He found the young man irritating since he did not seem to plan to say anything.

Rive immediately was angered by this silent, emo snob. The little twerp did not even speak a single word to Rive which angered the egotistical boy even more. Noah added more fuel to the fire as he whispered to Rive, inciting the teenager to take action. Out came the minuscule dagger, poised in Rive's hand in such a manner that is pretty much invisible from the other person's position.

Noah soon grew to the average sword size and rested neatly in Rive’s hand. He moved up towards the other boy, with a light and easily blocked side swipe. Rive had not intention of killing the other classmate but he wanted the other boy to be entirely engaged by the spar. Rive’s eyes swirled with their deep color of grey, similar to the steel of the blade, as the blade whistled through the air to hopefully gouge at the boy’s chest.

“Come, let’s have some fun,” Rive said with a sneer waiting for the resonant sounds of the two blades crashing together. The other boy would have to be a horrible fighter to not block the straightforward and not so subtle attack.

Mikael was actually very quickly to notice what the boy was doing and the move was pretty obvious for a starting. Mikael quickly raised his hand and grabbed the boy by the wrist before his attack hit him, then he gave the other teen a kick in the chest to send him backwards a few meters. It looked like he had a nice weapon...so was there a higher power out there that for once granted his wish for something to happen?

While he did this his other hand moved to the sword and he calmly grabbed it. "Sure if that is what you want....whoever you are" he replied to the comment from Rive. He made sure his grip around the handle was okey before he smiled at Rive, and the smile was one of the rare friendlier once that he used like once every year....if even that. "Something you want to say now that I do not have my back turned?" he quickly eyed the opponent...he did not seem to be very old but then again Mikael if anyone should know to never judge someone from there looks. He was after all 100 years old and looked like 18.

Rive was stunned by the fast movement of the other teenager but the kick was not too powerful so Rive simply staggered back a few steps. It would undoubtedly bruise up by the morning but for the time being, it would not matter much. Rive laughed at the boy, the other fighter obviously thought that he had an upper hand in the battle just because he had succeeded in gaining the upper hand. Noah was already chattering about how Rive should let the sword take over so that they could thoroughly thrash the other man. While Rive took that into consideration, for the time being Rive had other plans.

"For now, I am content other than one question. What power do you have?" Rive said with a chuckle, wondering what power he could take away from the other man. It was something he enjoyed doing as most opponents became severely angered when you removed their power.

"I, myself, have many powers but I am wondering what power I will have to face today."

Mikael looked at him as he was talking, he frowned slightly at the question about his powers. "and ruin the element of surprise? I do not think so, you will have to find out my power for yourself" he replied calmly and lowered the sword, the boy was to much talk and to little action. He had no idea why the boy wanted to know his power but he did not like it very much really.

Not that his powers was in any way affecting the way he was fighting, to regenerate did not make you a better fighter and he still tried to avoid getting any wounds at all when he was fighting of course. "So you wanted to chat or did you want to spar?" he calmly watched the other boy, he seemed very confident in his own ability so that might make things interesting today. Mikael was curious about what power this boy could possibly have, not that it mattered much in a fight with swords and he was most likely going to find out about the power sooner or later anyway. The stranger did seem very proud about his own abilities.

Rive decided that he would most likely discover that other person's ability by forcing the other person to use their ability in combat. Rive remained nonchalant as he leaned against the table nearest to him. It seemed that he was going to pick the chat option but that was not the case at all. All of a sudden, Noah elongated in such a way that the sword was almost like a spear and it soared out to slam into the other boy's thigh.

The surprise of the attack would make it hard for the other person to dodge it, seeing as the boy had no knowledge of the power's of Noah. Sadly, Rive would not be able to keep the attack going for long seeing as the blade was no overly heavy. Noah whispered to Rive 'Don't you wish you had super strength,' with a chuckle that only the teenager could here.

"Hopefully, that will show me your power," Rive said with a sneer before Noah returned his body, the blade, back to it's normal katana length.

It might have worked for a person wthout knowledge in the area but Mikael had been forced to be on his guard most of his life, so the sudden action from the strangers sword did not surprise him as much as it could have done. He jumped to the side and the attack only gave a cut in his clothes but no wounds. He frowned slightly as he watched the strangers weapon. "Sorry to dissapoint you, but no it did not force me to show my power" he replied calmly, then he smiled slightly at Rive.

"and you wont find out if you fight like that either" so the man could make his weapon grow? That was useful information that he had to make sure to remember until later....better keep a close eye on the boys movements from now on then. There was no more to it then that. "I wont bite, I promise" he went into a defensive stance and calmly watched the boy to see what he was going to do. He had his plan ready and the only thing he needed was more information.

Rive was surprised that the other boy had been able to dodge the cunning attack but instead of thinking that the other teenager was powerful and thus should be revered, Rive was simply angered by the boy's ability to dodge his attack. His cheeks became a bright red as he stared at the other boy through the one whole on his mask. Rive was even more angry as the boy teased him about not being able to see his power.

"I guess I will just take away your power if you will not show me it," Rive said with a grunt seeing as his jaw was clenched so tight due to his anger. His eye changed from the steely silver into a deep dark black that seemed to be even darker than the jet black of Rive's hair. His eye would block out the other teenagers power for as long as Rive was able to keep his stare. Not only this but he would most likely freeze the boy in his tracks.

"See, this is one of my many powers," Rive said with a chuckle, approaching the boy with little fear as he was most likely frozen and thus unable to strike out at Rive.
