"Yeah. Let's have fun with it," she grinned.

Zoey asked for something called 'The First Four Seals,' which was a series of four shots. Again, delightfully kitschy, and a big discount. She didn't need to look at the menu to know about it. She kicked the first two back right after she got them - with the rest, she'd take her time.

"It's definitely been fun so far. Dancing and drinks with a brilliant woman I just met." Zoey kept the footsies going, brushing one of her feet against one of Caissa's.

"You're a student at the school here, right? I bet you're ruining the curve over there, if they do that."

"I'm only in a couple of classes. I basically test out of all the standard stuff. Math is easy considering I have all the formulae in my head. History too. Just memories names, dates, and events. The more subjective stuff is harder. But it'll be better once I figure out what I want to do with college. Right now I'm kinda just. Riding the wave."

Caissa knocked back her shot and started nursing her second jaegerbomb. She gave a casual shrug and a grin at Zoey. "What about you? You strike me as a student. You've got that co-ed vibe to you. What are you studying?"

Zoey needed to think of a good way to answer that, and she tried to hide this by taking a long sip of her beer. It would be too obvious if she said she was into demonology. Should she even answer? Could she get away with telling the lie she'd made up, about Zoey's job?

She was taking a bit too long with this sip, so she just grinned and put the glass down. "Fine," she said, smiling and lowering her voice a little. "You got me. I'm a student. And I'm going for a job as either a scout or a lawyer when I'm done. A lot of the same stuff comes in handy, like sociology, shadow politics, magical histories, that sort of thing."

And it felt kind of good to be honest there, actually. But she also wanted to tell the lie, because she was proud of it. "If anyone else asks, though, I work as a prostitute in my true form, and I'm trying to distance that from the rest of my life."

"Sneaky. Makes sense though. Law is interesting and I'd be a crazy good lawyer. Bring up loopholes and every case of precedence ever. Just destroy my opponents. But getting summoned in the middle of a case would be annoying. Imsgine giving your closing statements and just blip! You're gone. Contempt of court."

Caissa grinned and leaned forward, giving Zoey a wink. "Well I make halfway decent money as a tutor. I could help sell the lie if you want. Anything to get you in a bed and your tongue between my legs."

Zoey laughed, surprised and delighted by how forward Caissa was being.

"Now, how did you figure out I was so good at that, super-genius?"

The flirting would get more aggressive, and Zoey would pick up the pace with her alcohol. At some point, Zoey managed to explain that there are kinds of lawyers who don't need to go to trial, so if Caissa really wanted to go to law school, she wouldn't need to worry about that getting-summoned-away stuff.

On her last shot, just before heading home with her, she also promised Caissa that she could borrow her cane. Just in case they both had trouble walking in the morning.
