Selkiris was quiet as Morgana asked why she remembered Morgan’s memories. He had to think up a convincing lie on the spot. “Index was very vague, and I didn’t understand most of it. Something about being born so close to Morgan dying by magic. I’m not really sure to be honest. His intellect is his greatest strength and weakness.”

The fae squinted, lips pursed as she accepted Selkiris's reasoning. Something about the entire situation was just...weird, but fine. Fine. She couldn't exactly fix this by herself, and if the man tried anything it wasn't like she was the type to just roll over. So, for a few minutes she kept walking and tried to pick apart what about his answer bugged her, but couldn't find anything. It made enough sense as far as she understood weird magic things.

"W-well...what's first?" she asked once they were alone in the woods and a ways away from Index.

Selkiris thought carefully. “Well...Morgan used to love to stare up into the stars with me during the night and look at the constellations. We could...perhaps do that tonight if you wished.” Selkiris felt super weird asking Morgana to something very similar to a date, but he needed to do this. That’s what Index said.

Morgana thought over that briefly. Well, everyone here liked to spend time with others, right? She'd seen plenty of students do such a thing. Besides, this was for her weird dreams. The woman turned a bit and nodded confirmation to her companion.

"If you...think it will help, yes." she agreed verbally and turned back around, "What should I do until then?"

Selkiris smiled, but of course Morgana could not see it. “Thank you very much Morgana, you will not regret it. As for what to do until then...just do what you normally do. You don’t have to do anything special on your part.”

Once more, the fae nodded though she still felt uneasy. It was hard for her to pin down why, and that thought would likely be the proverbial tail she'd be chasing all evening until the moon rose and Selkiris came to fetch her for their stargazing. In the end, she bid her companion farewell as they emerged from the dark woods and began her way back to the academy campus with heavy thoughts.
