It was a beautiful day at the Academy today and Yuu was taking full advantage of it by relaxing in the Courtyard, where she sat on a bench beside one of it's seemingly endless array of gardens full of breathtaking flora and utterly peaceful atmosphere, taking it all in with deep breath and exhaling in a small cheerful sigh.
Her mind just felt so calm and clear like this, as if any sort of problems she may have with schoolwork or with old friends and enemies alike just faded away from her memory when she was in this place, and that she felt was definitely worth spending a few minutes of relaxing to do.
Due to having just gotten out of classes for the day recently, Yuu was still wearing her school uniform and her soft brown hair was being kept up by small beads on either side of head that created little pony-tails on both sides and a backpack was being worn on her person which contained her school-materials as well as her wand that served as her main method of training her magic due to her young age and general inexperience with the arcane arts. The wand itself was a long pink pole with a red orb on the bottom and a somewhat crescent looking head with small wings fashioned upon it.
After spending a few more moments relaxing in the peacefulness of the courtyard, Yuu would then take out her wand from her backpack and hold it firmly in her hands while trying to concentrate magic on the tip of the wand as practice and, after a short while of simply concentrating on the flow of magic energy to her wand's tip, sparks of magic energy would begin to form upon it and, just as Yuu smiled and began to cheer herself for the accomplishment, the sparks fizzled away and caused the young girl to sigh softly.
It would take a long while to attune her magic past what she had already learned and, despite her desires to be stronger and able to do more - for now, she would just have to keep focusing and little by little, earn that power, as it would not simply come to her as simply as asking for it.
With a soft smile, Yuu realized that while she would not become amazingly strong in her magic overnight, it gave her the ability to learn and pace herself - There was no need to rush, after-all, she was still young and had school to worry about instead of focusing entirely on her magic.
Standing, Yuu would place her wand into her backpack and begin to wander about the Courtyard's many paths, humming a little tune to herself if she did so - though not particularly watching where she was going and would possibly bump or cross paths with someone soon enough and who knew, maybe she would meet a new face that way?
