Selkiris couldn’t believe Index had actually convinced him to do all of this. It was insane to say the least, taking Morgana on all of these trips to do activities that him and his dead wife did. For what? Just some chance of it being Morgan? It’s not like Selkiris could turn back now, as he had already told Morgana they were going to watch the stars and had gotten her from the academy.

Selkiris had quietly guided Morgana all the way from the academy to a secluded hill in the country, where a blanket was already set out for them. Selkiris took her hand and guided her up the hill, gesturing for her to take a seat. “I apologize for us having to do this. I understand it might be a little awkward but it was the one thing I could think of when you asked.”

Their walk to the hill had been slow, calm, and relatively quiet. It seemed to her that Selkiris was as in his own thoughts as she was. She felt awkward, like she was stepping into a very private role for someone else, invading Selkiris's life in someway by going with him on these little outtings. But if they were going to help, she'd swallow her nerves and follow along if it meant a good night's rest.

"N-no, no. It's okay." she reassured with a shake of her head before gently sitting down on the blanket he'd seemingly spread out for them. "It does feel nostalgic in a way. Though I can't say I've ever...done this to my memory."

And that was true. Something about being out here, with him felt deeply important in a way Morgana couldn't really pinpoint. Some vague, wiggling feeling in the back of her mind that vanished in the fog as soon as she turned around to grab it. Perhaps Selky- Selkiris- would be able to explain why or Morgan's memory would reveal itself.

Selkiris chuckled a little and took a seat once she did. He took of his hood and looked up to the stars, smiling a little bit. “If you are feeling nostalgic then perhaps what Index said actually is true in a way. Morgan loved to watch the night sky and always wanted me to come along with her. She thought the stars were the greatest thing and found it fascinating that we could make out pictures from the stars.” Selkiris actually looked..happy for the moment. All the talk about Morgan had let his mind retreat back into much brighter days, days where he wasn’t alone.
