Azlin hesitantly looked up at Cambrissa and felt a wave of relief when she realized that she wasn't upset. "Alright," she nodded solemnly and reached out, first unsure of herself, and then with more confidence to take Cambrissa's hands in hers.

"I am not used to all this yet. Life has changed so much in so little time. On Thirteen, I knew my place, how to act and what to say. Here, everything is so different. Everyone here is ..." here she struggled to find the right words as she looked down at Cambrissa's hands in hers. "Everyone is so relaxed, and just really patient and kind," she confessed as she looked up again at her crewmate.

"Patience is one of my core traits. On top of a kick ass party hostess, I'm also supposed to be that friend you can tell anything to. Speaking of that, if you ever want me to keep something to myself all you have to do is ask."

Cambrissa squeezed Azlin's hands tightly, giving her a big, genuine smile. She couldn't help but be happy for her new crewmate and her freedom. "You don't have to figure everything out all at once. You can make mistakes. And every time you learn from them, you'll be better and stronger for it. Azlin, you're going to be amazing."

"You are right," Azlin agreed as she squeezed Cambrissa's hand back. Those concepts were all so strange to her. She had not really ever been told it was alright to fail or make a mistake. Failure on Thirteen wasn't really an option, or if you failed you had better know how to run, hide, fight or talk your way out of it. And mistakes, well, they were often accompanied by some sort of punishment if they were found out.

"Thank you, Cambrissa," Azlin said with a grateful look as she let go of her crewmate's hand. "I should probably get some rest, or at least try to," she admitted.
