Nyota couldn't help but chuckle as Kris cheered, they might act all tough but they where just as much of dork as she was. They cool and awesome sort of dork though, not the nerdy geeky dork. With that, Nyota was bombarded with ton of questions about the finer details of their gang such as what they should be called, what their colors are, their initiation rites, and all that jazz.

"Whoa whoa! Thats a tall order... but we can figure these things out one at time. Hee... the thought of me being preppy? What a laugh. I always hated those stuck-up bitches who think they are soooo much better you because of some... pedigree. Hee... well, glad that your not like that either. Anyway, I think this will be the start of beautiful friendship Kris." replied Nyota as she gives her friend a thumbs-up.

Nyota then rests her arm on the arm of the couch, nodding as Kris mentioned they shuld find their own space. to call their hideout.

"Hrrmmm... well... its a big school here. There all sorts of unused rooms and spaces all around the campus. Who knows, there there is an abandoned shack just outside the school grounds that we could use? Worth looking around at least." shrugged Nyota.

"Anyway... what do you think about names? Cause... I got shit. Like... I dunno... Hell's Angels? Nah... thats overused and chiche. Heaven's Demons? Maybe... Terror Tigers? Or... maybe just Tigersharks. Atomic Furies? Errr... Fire Fangs? The Blazers? Viper Crew? Honeybaders? Shit... do you have any good names? I think I was just spouting garbage." groaned Nyota... all of her ideas sounding awful as she said them out loud.

Kris just chuckled out a bit nervously. Yeah, he was coming on a bit strong and asking a shitton of questions. He should probably dial it back some. With a soft shrug he went to eventually nod. "A wonderful friendship! A most wonderful one!" he clapped his hands together as he moved over and went to sit down on the couch near her.

His hands came up, idly running his fingers through his messy, wild hair as he thought, "Eh? They don't have cameras in the room or anything? Or some.. Weird magical detection bullshit? If so, a random room could work. I was thinking of hanging out in the woods somewhere but apparently they're super unsafe or some shit." Kris explained as he went to lean back, closing his eyes as his head rested on his arms.

"Those names..? Eh. Something not english maybe. My mother's side is apparently italian, according to my grandfather. Something like.. Iniquità or something. Something I heard him used to call me every once in a while. We don't gotta choose a name now, at least."

He sighed out a little bit. "Well. Enough about the gang. Ya heard about me, I wanna hear something about my new buddy!"

"Oh your part Italian? Thats cool... anyway, I have no idea what you just said even means but it sounds cool. But yeah, we can both think of all that stuff later. Soo... you want to know a little about me me?" questioned Nyota, before she shrugged and continue on "Alright... well since you shared that your lovely Italian heritage... I will tell you mine."

Nyota then sits up a bit more erect from the couch and points to herself from the couch "Half Armenian and half Chinese. Weird combination huh? You can thank my dorky parents for that peculiar heritage." stated Nyota as she then points to the family picture of the two older women and the younger girl sitting on the desk from earlier.

"Honestly... I didn't even know Armenia was even a country until I had to do a one of those dumb reports on a country your family came from. "

"The fuck is an Armenian? Tha-.." he paused a few seconds. It had.. Arm in it.. Were they people who only had one arm or something? Is that why she had one arm? No.. No. It probably wasn't. Though he was curious about that.

"Still, I feel doubtful it's actually a country. Sounds weird. I, myself, am not truly sure what the other half is, but.." there was a pause as he motioned to himself, "I'm assuming somewhere from Africa or something." he continued, brushing his bangs back behind his ear to keep the hair out of his eyes.

"Alright. I have to ask. It's killing me. I'm sorry. But why are you, uh.." he paused. He would have to word this.. Carefully.

".. HANDicapped?" Okay, or he could just do a stupid pun. That could also work. "I'm sure you get it a lot. But, you know. Everyone at this school is just a little bit different in some way."

Nyota gives Kris a livid stare. Did he REALY have to put so much Memphis on the HAND part of handicapped? Whatever, it was bound to come up. Honestly, she was surprised few people actually bothered to ask her that question.

"Really dude... is our relationship going to revolve around arm puns. *groans* Whatever... most people her try to act as if the missing limb isn't obvious... like... some sort of awkward politeness on their part. I mean... they notice it but... try to not draw attention to it. Anyway, long story short... I was a moron and blew that fucker off when I first acquired my powers. So yeah... its constant "FUCK YOU" to remind me be responsible and shit."

Nyota sighed, then looked at her stump arm, moving it up and down... reflecting upon some poor decisions on her part. After some time, she realized that perhaps she was staring at her arm for a bit too long so let what remained of her left arm fall to her side and looked back to Kris.

"Worst part is when you forget that your left hand isn't a part of you anymore and you try to do something mundane like open the refrigerator door only to left questioning why it isn't opening. I'm mostly used it now though... mostly. Anyway... lets turn this back onto you now."

Nyota then causally lays back onto the couch and narrows her eyes to Kris

"What was it like living with a dad? I grew up with two mom so I am kinda curious. I mean... it sounded like your dad was a peice shit but hey... since I shared you what its like being a cripple, you can tell me what its like to have a fatherly influence in your life."

"Maybe it will, maybe it won't. I haven't fully decided yet, but I figured I'd try to lighten the mood a little instead of, you know. Going all 'well gee golly gosh what happened there' you know?" he said, throwing his hands up into the air! "Still. Fuck, that sucks. At least I haven't lost anything important like that because of my power.." he muttered out, as his hands came back down to fiddle with his hair while listening to her.

"Well.. Shit, though. That fuckin' sucks to hear. Can't they just, like.. Magic you an arm or some shit? I mean they can do weird shit here like that, right?" he asked before he just sighed out for a moment.

He closed his eyes. There was a father question, "Well. He was a dick, as I said. He liked to beat me. Shit like that. Reason why I chose to never be home when I had the option. He always wanted me to do sports or some manly shit. But my mom had raised me otherwise and I wanted to do what my mom wanted me to do.. I guess.."

Kris shrugged, "I didn't have a normal.. Family. I don't think moms are supposed to dress their boys up like girls just because they wanted a girl. But it's whatever. Made me the badass I am today, so who am I to complain?"

"You know... you would think that but getting a new arm sounds like a fucking bitch. Its either super expensive because you have to be an exuberant fee or it comes with some other cost like selling you soul to some dark god. They don't make it easy to get new arm unless its life threatening. Fucking insurance being useless." grumbled Nyota.

She explored that option in the past but couldn't find anything that was reasonable in her case. Maybe there there will be some future opportunity to get a new arm but for now... she was going to have to deal with being one handed for a bit longer.

Nyota listened to every word that Kris had to say about their dad... and he sounded as much of prick as she expected him to be.

"Wow... what a prick. Well hey, I think you look good in a dress so good on you dork." commented Nyota as she gave him a thumbs up of approval.

"Well... can't say I had it normal either. My moms liked to dress me up as a tiny Vulcan or Klingon every time we went to con of sorts. I swear the main reason they had me was to have an excuse to play dress up sometimes. Not that I'm complaining... I fucking love those two knucklheads. They weird but... god they are just the sweetest and most kind-hearted couple you will ever meet. Yeah they can be over protective and gushy at times but, I'm proud to call them my moms." Nyota smiles as she reflects on some family memories of her, before she looked back to Kris with some concern.

"Sorry if I sounded like I was bragging there for moment... you mom sounded really cool so it just naturally made me think of my moms. Sounded like you looked up to her... what else can you tell me about her... aside from putting you into dresses."

Kris let out a 'hm' as he thought for a few seconds. Super expensive? What did he do when shit was super expensive? He stole! He snapped his fingers as the gears grinding in his head turned on that little light bulb. "I got it! We steal you an arm. We'll need a saw." he let out a soft chuckle, "Though really, if you ever uh.. Want.. Help.. With that, I don't mind trying."

He shrugged lightly before giving her a wink, "Damn straight I do. I look better than most women. Then they get mad and don't go on dates with me." Hey, at least he was a bit of a jokster. If he couldn't win women over with his dashing, feminine looks then he could win their hearts with a few good jokes! Though he blinked a little. She had two moms. That sounded nice.

Kris had no clue what a vulcan or clingon or con was. But hey, apparently it required dressing up. A hand came up to scratch at his cheek. "Ehh? She died some years back due to a heart condition. She was very kind. Not exactly.. Right in the head, thinking back on it now. But she had her heart in the right place, I guess." Kris explained, "I think she only stayed with my dad 'cause he had some money and she got pregnant. So that's whatever, ya know? She liked cooking, though. A lot. Was a big thing on her side of the family. I think granddad used to own a restaurant, too."

He went to stretch out, groaning as his mouth opened wide to yawn, "So. I gotta ask. I'm new here. There anything good in town? Any good stores or anything? I'm probably gonna have to do clothes shopping soon. Didn't exactly bring a lot with me."

(Sorry for the lateness. I was babysitting all weekend so I really only kept up with the christmas thread. :c I am free now, though! :D)

Nyota just outright laughed at Kris' ridiculous plan to steal an arm

"Bhaaa hahahaha! Steal an arm? What do you think we can just cut of some dude's arm and attach it to my body like Frankenstein's monster? That has to be the-" Nyota paused as she remembered where was.

She was now living in a world of crazy magical superpowers. It was highly likely that there was someone who could just attach her a new arm. A bit disturbing but... it was very real possibly here now that she gave it some serious though.

"Actually... that could work... but we would have to find some magical doctor willing to attach the new arm... and well... an arm." shrugged Nyota

"Honestly, I was thinking some kind of robot arm. I mean, that would be fucking badass am I right?" Nyota then raises her stump left arm and waves it at Kris.

Even Nyota found herself chuckling over Kris' rocking those feminine wiles of his.

"Heh heh heh hehhh... I'm sure that's the reason~" she mused before growing quite once again.

Her friend didn't have the the easy life. Nyota at least her parents to back her up for all of her life... Kris had no one except maybe her and Quasar. The only other person who really cared for him died years ago to which she sympathized with him. Afterall, she wouldn't know what she would do without her moms. She was constant fuck-up but they loved her all the same. Same can't be said about Kris however.

"Damn... sorry to hear about your mom. But your here now so... guess you better make the most of it. Anyway, you said you need clothes? I know a great little thrift shore in the city has piles and piles of old second-hand clothes you can rummage though. They have just about everything for cheap. Honestly, you could probably get away with stealing some of them if you really wanted too but... I think they are so desperate to get ride of some of those old things that they would probably let you walk out with a whole bag full for free. As for things to do... well..."

Nyota paused as she thought about the other amenities they could participate in before continuing.

"... there is a space station that we can go visit! That place if fucking wild! Aside from that... well... I'm sure that there is something if you look in the right places. Clubs, stores, shady areas, parks, beaches... and I think there is theme park with roller coasters too. Haven't been there yet but I hear it cool place."

Kris huffed out before nodding, "Yeah! That's totally the plan. If you like.. Run up on someone with a saw or sword or something, it could totally work on getting a new arm! Might be messy. But yeah. Magic stuff." he said before smirking a little bit as he brushed his bangs from his face.

"Though a robot arm. That sounds amazing! Maybe it could, like.. Tell the time without needing a watch or something. Maybe have a grappling hook or something."

He just chuckled out as he went to stretch again. "That's totally the reason! I'm tellin' ya. They're just too intimidated that I look better in their clothes." he continued to joke, throwing a wink out there. It wasn't long before he found himself frowning, though. Kris honestly disliked people apologizing all the time. It's not like they killed her or they beat him or anything.

"Eh. Yeah. I could use clothes. Probably a lot because right now I only got my uniform and like.. Two spare sets of clothes. So if we could totally go out shopping sometime, that'd be great. While second-hand clothes isn't always the best, I can totally make due with it."

He was busy dusting himself off when she mentioned a fucking space station. "Wait.. What? That's a.. Joke, right? An actual space station? No way that's actually a thing.. ... Like really?"
