Celeste bolted forward when Anita was thrown. She was acting purely on instinct now as she rushed past the arriving cops leaving her niece behind.

Arriving at where Dalia was, she looked at the two girls, a mixture of calm panic on her face. "Are you both okay?" she asked them both with concern, ready to heal, haul out of there or help Anita if she had been hurt.

Auris took a moment to look behind him, and was very thankful he had decided to do that when he saw a woman come right at him with a mace. After the ordeal with the kid, and seeing how his powers weren't working correctly, he decided he wouldn't take the hit head on. When he looked, he had very little time to react to the mace. "SHIT!" He jumped back while literally whacking the mace with his right hand to throw off its aim. That obviously hurt his hand a considerable amount. Then there was also the fact he hadn't managed to completely avoid it. Considering he had already got a burn from an electric fist, the mace most certainly cracked one or two ribs.

He backed away from the woman, breathing hard. "The fuck are you, Terrick on steroids?! Gods I hope you're not damn Terrick on steroids." Auris' grin had fallen. He looked at Malara carefully, observing her. He couldn't take her lightly, that mace would have probably been enough to kill him if he had decided to try and tank it.
Well, guess he had to use it.

Auris clenched his hands into fists, then pulled back his left arm. It hurt like crazy from the damage he took earlier. But he knew he could get one more hit off, he just had to time it perfectly. He started to run at Malara, almost in a last ditch effort. But he was focused. Once he would get close enough, he'd place the glowing mark and hit it within moments. Of course he'd receive a mark as well if he did this, that's why the timing was important. He didn't know he'd get recoil from the damage as well.

Not that he would find out, because the hit would never land. A moment before Auris placed the mark and started to swing his fist at Malara, Angelo managed to get a cuff on him. The very sudden drop Auris felt completely threw him off. It was enough hesitance for his arm to give out, enough for the pain to catch up. He couldn't move his left arm now, and he fell to his knees right in front of Malara. His jaw was completely clenched and his entire body stiff.

He could've attempted some resistance, but he knew he was beaten. All the strength in his body had practically vanished once the cuff was on, and he was in no condition to try and continue the fight. He forced himself to stand, his pride wouldn't have allowed him to remain on his knees. He literally couldn't move his left arm, so he raised just his right in surrender, even though his right hand was also pretty messed up. It wouldn't be difficult for Angelo to finish cuffing Auris, since he wasn't putting up a fight anymore.

"Oh no, no you don't," Angelo said, sliding his right foot onto the left side of Auris's own and sliding it outwards, forcing it out from under them. They'd be down on their knees one way or another, and Angelo noted the lack of movement in his left arm, but didn't let that stop him from cuffing the two together.

"Alright," Angelo said, familiar enough with Malara to be confident she wasn't going to swing on a handcuffed man. "What started this?"

The other officers were already starting to create a proper cordon, but Angelo needed to make sure he had everyone arrested he was supposed to.

During the whole scene Shul had stood back, he wasn't his family and knew when a fight wasn't his, but when Anita was thrown at Dalia he let out a shout and his body moved before he could control it. He had carried Sark to a more safe place, and the robot was still out cold, so he could leave him for a bit.
Like Celeste Shul bolted forward and to Dalia and Anita.
"Are you two okay?"
He asked almost simultaneously with Celeste, glancing at the woman quickly but concentrating on the children. But when Angelo cuffed Auris and the fight calmed down Shul turned to look. Angelo had asked what had started this, Shul was pretty much the main witness aside from Sark and had called the cops. Shul would step forward if he was let to do so and tried to catch Angelo's attention.
"I called the police to the scene and was personally involved with how this all started. Do you need me to give a statement?"

Dalia set Anita down when she was certain the girl was safe. The entire time her teeth were gritted as she worked through the pain of her shoulder being shattered like it was. "No. No cool line," she managed to say before covering herself in her white flames again. She glanced at Shul and Celeste, glad they were here because she didn't know if she was gonna be able to stay conscious or not.

Malara, for her part, had Ecstasy raised above her head to crush Auris' head when Angelo appeared. She blinked and stopped the mace midair, letting it seemingly float in place as she let go. Immediately her demeanor changed to cavalier and almost sweet. "Fluffy! Good to see you, gorgeous. I gotta say your response time is spot fuckin on. I dunno really though. This guy appeared. Helmet head over there made a run at him, he slammed him Intimidation the ground. Threw him through a wall. You know. Normal shit."

Malara glanced back over her shoulder to see Dalia hit her knees, out of breath and barely staying awake. "Baby girl was the only one who really stepped forward to stop him. I couldn't, pesky restrictions. She pulled his focus until he swung at her and then she retaliated. Kept him from hurting anybody else."

"If you don't need us immediately..." she said, pausing and grabbing her mace out of the air, "I'd like to get her shoulder looked at. Get her some ice cream. Some pain killers. Something."

As soon as Anita was set down, Celeste hurried forward, now greatly concerned when Dalia went down on her knees in obvious pain. Placing her hands out in front of her and verifying that Dalia's flames didn't burn, Celeste went down on a knee and gently and carefully held her upright, not exactly sure where Dalia was hurt, but knowing she was.

"It's okay, just relax," Celeste told her softly and in a calming tone as she placed her hands lightly on her two top forearms as she continued to hold her so she wouldn't pass out on the concrete. Glancing over at Malara and Angelo for a second, Celeste then returned her attention to Dalia.

"Are you okay?" she asked quietly as she studied the young girl's face, not expecting her really to answer. Celeste just wanted to keep Dalia conscious until they could get her help, all the while thinking she had been foolishly brave to take on Auris.

"Disappointing, kay." She said as she let go of Dalia. Anita immediately stepped back as Celeste and Shul came in to see if they were all right. "I'm fine kay. just scratches, kay."

Anita moved away from the group and sat at the curb. only now just realising that she was in danger, and Dalia helped her, even with her obviously hurt arm. Weird.

Glancing back at Dalia, she saw Celeste holding her, and wondered why she wasn't doing any healing. Could she not see Dalia was hurt?

Auris made no attempt to struggle or stand. He winced as both hands were cuffed behind back, leaving his shoulder pulled just enough for it to really hurt. There was also the messed up hand, the likely broken rib(s), and the nausea that kept on going. Auris should've been able to continue going for a lot longer, he was a fighter of strength and instinct in most cases. But something had changed, whatever those people did to him back then had dulled his powers... Plus he was getting the feeling he wasn't anywhere remotely similar to home now.

He tried to adjust his left shoulder a bit just to make it the slightest more comfortable, but found he was completely unable to move it. He'd probably need a mechanic's help with that one, doesn't seem to be something basic maintenance will be able to fix. He groaned quietly to himself. This rapidly became a massive hassle since he arrived. When Angelo spoke, he looked up at him.

Auris could say that Sark was attempting to slug him, but Auris understood the reasons why Sark attempted it. Auris would agree that he deserved it. "Just as the lady said, I grabbed helmet head, then I was told to put him down. So I did." Auris attempted to talk casually, carefree, but it wouldn't be hard to hear the struggle in his voice. That pain was really catching up now. "Brat pestered me and I wasn't in the mood to deal with more of the bastards who restrained me last time." Auris was still under some assumption that some of the people he was speaking to were in league with the people that managed to restrain him. Auris didn't know it right now, but they had also been able to banish him from his own world.

Something about the way the mace hung in the air unnerved Angelo, but he knew better than to let it show. From what Malara had said, he had a general idea of what had happened, but that still left him with a bunch of witnesses, an injured little girl, and a very injured suspect.

This was going to be a mess, wasn't it?

"We'll need to get statements from all of you," Angelo said, nodding to Shul and Celeste in particular. "More officers will be here in a moment to get photos of the scene and take statements, but we shouldn't need too much questioning."

Mostly because no one got away.

As for Mal...

"Dalia should get looked at my an EMT. There's already one on the way, and once that's handled we need statements. Sorry, but Ice Cream's going to have to wait."

It was only once the suspect spoke that he processed the obvious thing that he missed, and his head snapped up to look towards Shul.

"Hold on, is... 'helmet head' alright?" As far as he could tell, there was a helmeted man just kind of lying on the ground, clearly out cold.

Shul simply nodded when Angelo mentioned he indeed did need Shul and few others to give a statement. And once he began talking to Malara Shul looked towards where he had left Sark, on a safe spot with Shul's jacket under his head. Though Sark probably didn't need it. And Angel was sitting next to him and guarding him like a good girl. Shul wanted to get them all home as soon as possible.

Shul's head also turned back to look at Angelo, when he asked about Sark's condition.
"Ah, he's Sark, my fiancee. He's a robot, self-repairing and very durable, probably alright. But a mechanic should take a look at him just in case."
Shul explained, looking towards Sark again. He tried too keep himself from getting too emotional, Shul was pretty sure Sark had been through a lot more than getting thrown to a wall in his time.
