The main room, which until now has been empty and covered in dust from years of disuse, is clean and covered in vague, esoteric decorations. Streamers along the ceiling, bundles of plants that are all alive, despite several of them being out of season. The room is mostly lit by candles that are around the room and seem to provide more light than they reasonably should. Artifacts sit on pedestals around the room, each pedestal bearing a symbol on its base. The same symbol adorns the walls as well.

The symbol in question: two dots beside one another over two horizontal lines.

Tables lined with fresh food, with different dishes to accommodate all tastes and diets. The food never seems to deplete or grow cold (or warm for cold foods). Alcoholic drinks are available, but strangely they turn to normal fruit juice if they pass the lips of someone underage.

- This artifact is a pair of scepters, actually, intertwined with one another. One silver, one gold. At the top, two figures clasp hands.
- A nondescript vase, so worn you can't tell who it is.
- The artifact Ishvi is looking at is a rough carved wooden mask, depicting a gentle face with upturned eyes.
- A small stone box, marked with cuneiform. It looks like it probably holds something inside it, but it has to be pretty small - the box is only six or seven inches across.
- The next artifact is a statue of a man, standing all cavalier. He's naked, but his genitals have been broken off. He's holding a sickle in one hand.
- It's like a very worn piece of fabric, in a variety of colors. Looks woven.
- A fancy black veil that looks very old, and fragile. It has strange patterns embroidered into it, accented with small gems and pieces of silver. Riley believes she recognizes it from a past life, and that it is associated with either a death goddess or a goddess of the underworld.
- A necklace with nine red sea shells.
- There's a bronze disc with a pattern that looks like waves. It's propped up so it can be viewed.
- The tenth artifact is a bone - something like a femur. There are little holes drilled in it, evenly spaced, and it seems to be hollowed out.
- The final artifact is a scroll, tightly wound. The edges look frayed and the entire thing looks fragile. Unlike the others, there's actually a glass case around it, keeping it from being touched.

Around 8PM, the room began to snow. It lightly dusted the area, but never built up, never touched the food, and didn't change the ambient temperature of the room.

Several people found squirrels around the room which appeared and vanished mysteriously. Anyone who attempted to touch the artifacts had a squirrel bat their hand away, as if being admonished.

Around 11:30, the snow stopped falling. Around the same time, Xander got into an altercation with a squirrel, using his damage link. The lights abruptly went out, revealing a room filled with squirrels, who seemed to talk among themselves before Xander's apology satisfied them and they all vanished away. When Xander was upset afterwords, the squirrel appeared, providing a napkin for him to wipe his eyes.

The squirrels then did an extravagant acrobatics show before vanishing away.

Sometime overnight, the ground of the room became grass, sprinkled with wildflowers.

At 10AM, the room briefly shook. Akechi revealed she was one of the people who'd organized the party, announcing they were in charge of a coalition of twelve gods. Forgotten gods, abandoned by their people and with only a single artifact to their name. They declared they'd be reaching out, attempting to prove they were worthy of being accepted by the island.

Akechi also announced her boons: "From this day forth, if you leave out nine identical items and call my name, I will deliver any message to anyone in the world for you. Likewise, you will find the walking path to the school from the city will take no time at all." They then departed, along with the spirits of the gods.

Close to 11, the candles dimmed, and the darkened room became filled with stars. On one side, a golden figure, stretching their hand out to a silver figure on the opposite side of the room. They touched only briefly, and then the illusion faded.

At 12:45, a sea breeze filled the room, and water show went off, displaying complex patterns in the air.

At 8PM, a scrying pool appeared in the corner of the room. People looking into it each saw something different, with most clamming up about what they saw. Eventually though, it was established that if the person looking has someone they're in love with — or even crushing on, or desiring — they'd see them instead of their own reflection.

Miss November arrived not long after 10PM. She was soft spoken and polite, wearing a veil similar to her artifact. She explained that she was a god of the underworld, but that she felt ill-suited to the party, lacking anything that might curry favor. She presented several semi-precious stones, allowing people to pick out one they'd like as a thank you for visiting the party.
