Hella had arrived way too early. How could she not be? This was exciting. She looked at her phone again, reading over Virgil's texts. He had gotten her a deer, like he'd promised. She just hoped he hadn't gotten hurt in the process.

She was on one of the stools in the lab. She hadn't exactly gotten permission to use it, but she knew it would be free for the day. It was pretty standard fare, from what she'd seen. Big open floorspace, large tables with stools around them for group dissections and experiments.

She was bundled up much like when they had first met; long pants and boots, a smock, elbow length rubber gloves. Only this time she was also wearing a face mask. Getting the deer blood on her face had really grossed her out.

Now all she had to do was wait.

The deer had been easy to get, any dragon could have done it really, let alone one as naturally designed for stalking and hunting prey as Virgil. So he landed outside the school, setting the deer down, he shifted and borrowed a large wheeled dolly from one if the buildings. Unfortunately his human form was no stronger than a true human, so the dolly would be useful.

So, he pushed it into the science area of the school. His face would occasionally move into a tiny smile as he walked, he didn't show a lot of emotions, took quite a bit to get him to, so a small smile meant a lot.

It didn't take long for him to find the labs, picked up Hella's scent and followed it to the right one. He pushed the deer in, flashing Hella one of his small smiles as he entered. "Sorry it took a bit," pushing it over to the table, he hit a switch in the dolly, the auto-lift on it lifted it to the same height of the table, allowing him to pull the deer onto it. "I don't know anything about necromancy, but I can help with everything else," he pulled a black knife from the inside of his coat and set it down, he'd forged it himself at his job.

Hella jumped up when she heard Virgil come in. There it was, the deer. "You really heckin did it. Wow. You're the best, Virgil."

She stood back while he placed the carcass up on the table, barely able to contain her excitement. This one wasn't quite as big as the last one, but that was fine.
She unsheathed Skredder from it's sheath and gave a couple of quick sips at the air expectantly.

"You're free to just watch, keep me company and do the small talk. You're already a life saver, bringing it here for me. Plus, have you ever gutted and skinned a deer before? Or do you just eat them whole, Mr. Dragon."
She let out a small laugh and stepped forward, brandishing Skredder like a scalpel.

Regardless of if he was going to help or not, Hella got to work. She had to be careful not to make too much of a mess. The less clean up she had later, the less likely she was to get caught.

He chuckled a little, "actually yes we do. This is a first for me, bringing a deer in instead of eating it." Reaching into his bag, he pulled out a few coffees for them, setting the cups on one of the tables. "Swung by a shop, got us some things."

"So, your stuffles?" he watched her start, "I've...never seen anything like them before." He'd seen quite a bit, he was a dragon afterall, "my mom worked with a Lich, so I've seen some necromancy, but nothing quite like them."

Virgil leaned over the table just a bit to watch her work, "with other forms of necromancy there just, raising a corpse." He tilted his head, "you're....creating something new, from death." Looking back to her, his eyes curious, "that's more far more impressive than just turning a corpse into a puppet." He didn't know a whole lot about magic, but he could see something special when he saw it.
