The Proper Clothing

Zoe was having a difficult time thinking of all the porcupine ways the famed assassin could be killing her right now, how he could be lying and leading her away from her objective of finding 101. And how clothing was an utter waste of her time. She didn't really understand the whole 'modesty' part of the whole argument but she wore clothes anyway.

So she was having this Experiment help her pick out clothing that would help her blend into a crowd here on earth. "What do you mean a specific type of clothing?" her tone couldn't be any more suspicious as she said the words as she entered the clothing store. It certainly did have a lot of variety in cloth body coverings.

There were many odd looks casted at the couple as they entered the store especially since Zoe still had her 'hunting' gear on. Well she couldn't take it off until she had clothing that didn't require her tails to be attached. "Xander, your going to have to point it out. What ever this special clothing type is I'll wear it, so long as it helps me find 101."

They had entered the building and Xander was holding up a dress for her to examine. It looked like she wouldn't be able to conceal any weaponry while she was wearing such a thing. But then again as she had thought before there was more she could do then most people thought she might be able to. Her eyes scanned over the dress and her mind did some calculations, and measurements comparing the dress to her body's own measurements. Thinking it would be a tight fit but she might be able to make it work.

"Let me try it on." She said as she remembered there was a dressing room in the back. She took the dress from where it was and began to walk over to the dressing room. Being a smaller room she was barely able to fit her tail into the room as well. Though once she was there she went through the usual process of detaching her tail.

There was a small hiss of the connecting portions of the tail and the area at the base of her spine most people would call a tail bone as they parted. The larger tail cluncked down to the ground in a small ground shudder from the weight of almost 150 lbs of metal falling a short distance followed by the two smaller tails and the rest of the Exo-Spine. Her clothing, being connected to the tails came off leaving her open to the world but she didn't have to worry about people peeking, she was in a dressing room after all.

Zoe removed her claws next before putting the dress on as she looked into the mirror. The dress hugged her body and didn't leave much to the imagination, she did note her eyes had changed color from the deep maroon red to the bright electric blue (with slight illumination). The dress cut down her front quite a ways as well as a bit in the back. There was a slit up her left leg as well as she thought that would at least help her run after 101 if she needed.

Looking at her back as well though she could see the small spinal ports glowing gently through the cloth and the big plug for the Exo-Spine gear and when she needed a recharge was hidden behind her short 'cut' hair. Though not knowing if this was how the dress was supposed to fit she exited the dressing room, she only had the dress on, she didn't see the reason for underclothing.

He said it was perfect...but she wasn't quite sure. "I'm not sure if it's supposed to be this form fitting though." she put her hand up to the dress and began to pull on it here and there, once almost having a wardrobe malfunction but it went back in place before anything major could happen. "Are you sure it's supposed to be like this?"

Zoe sighed as she heard him say that she was going to need different outfits for each location they would be going to. "Again Xandar, you're going to need to choose them for me. I honestly have no idea what sort of clothing Humans wear for different situations. All of this just seems like the largest waste of time imaginable."

"I mean, this barely covers anything, what's the point of it then?" Her tone was a little angry, apparently her view on clothing was use and function over style and look. "Is this supposed to be for everyday use or once and done?" her tone was getting a little harsher as she was thinking about this before she sighed. "I hate trying to figure this clothing stuff out."

Zoe rolled her eyes as she folded her arms which did interesting things to the dress that she was ignorant of. When she looked back to Xander she saw him grabbing more outfits which she could only assume were for her. "Im not going to have to put all of those on am I?" she was still annoyed at the dress.

She took her eyes off of Xander and looked around again her eyes catching the sight of something. She saw a girl ignoring Zoe's mere pressence in the shop, unbeknownst to the Android this organic was jealous of her. But that wasn't what Zoe was noticing. The girl was wearing shoes. It caused her to look down at her own feet and their current bareness.

With a sigh she walked over to Xander "I'm also going to assume I'm going to need footware as well?" she was behind him at the moment and looking around his left side to see what he was doing. "or is it possible for me to just walk without them?"

"Well I meant right now..." she paused as she sighed thinking of how many potential sites she was going to need to visit before she was going to find 101. "...I mostly understand the need for the disguises. I just wish I could do this my normal way. I feel like this is just going to be a large waste of both of our time." She began to move back towards the dressing room. Her Exo-Spine ports easily visible slightly through the cloth and obviously where the dress didn't cover at all.

Before she entered though a thought came to her mind. "Wait, is this the dress you wanted me to wear to the site? This was a pain to get on so if it is I might just need to wear it until we are done." She looked down at the fabric again she grimaced a little. "I hate clothing..."
