Riley wasn't usually someone to leave his room on a weekend, but the weather was nice, and his therapist suggested that, at the very least, he could get some sunlight. Even if he didn't plan on talking to people. At least, that's what he thought his therapist said. It was in his journal, which is how he even bothered to be able to remember what was said in those meetings. That said, today he had more in mind than just taking in sunlight. After all, he couldn't just.. let his mind sit idle. That wasn't how Riley worked.

So instead, he brought his guitar and went to sit against a tree in the park.

Now, Riley wasn't that good at guitar. He wasn't god awful, by any means, but he'd only been playing a month. Let's just say it wasn't stellar. However, it soothed him, and for the few moments he played it, he could forget about the rest of the world and just enjoy it. It was... nice, in its own way. And hey, maybe he could become a rock star, or something. Then he could make up for being an asshole with skill.

A snort followed such silly thoughts. For now, he would just relax, playing simple chords out of his guitar lessons book.

Honua was on her way back from some alone time in the woods. She liked to just be left alone, to be with her thoughts and get away from everyone. Usually, she would practice or perform a style of meditation to focus her mana but today, she just read under a tree. In the woods, there were no distractions, no one to interrupt her - well, normally.

Strolling in the direction of her dorm, she heard what sounded like an attempt at music. A little to her left, she noticed a guy perched against a tree, strumming some chords. "Oh look, we've got ourselves a rockstar," she sighed to herself, sarcasm present in her voice. She didn't understand why a person would force other people to listen to them make a racket. What they did in their own company was up to them but out in the open, it affected everyone else. Walking past him, she gave a small laugh as she looked at him.

Riley had been enjoying his playing quite a bit, by this point. He did notice someone approaching, but really hoped they'd just.. ignore him. He didn't like talking to people, and this one specifically looked.. well, she didn't look aggressive, but she also didn't look friendly. It was strange, to say the least. For now he didn't say a thing, simply strumming the instrument with a sigh.

... Of course, this woman had to them address him. Not to mention in a sarcastic drawl, clearly mocking him. Now, usually he would just bat an eye to this, but.. hey, she walked into it. He hadn't had a lot of fun yet today, so he might as well give a few verbal shots back, right? He could take a few punches if things went too far in the wrong direction. His gaze locked with hers as a small, but mischievous grin plastered itself on his features.

"Hey, bitch. I might be the rockstar, but you look like some grape-themed band from the 80's crawled in your hair and died. Look in a mirror before you judge my playing skills, next time." He crossed his arms with this, the guitar having been cast aside for the time being. "So why don't you take your Barney: The Snooki Edition reject ass and keep walking?"

Honua stopped and just laughed at him. She didn't quite get some of the insults but she found it funny that he just bursted them out. Pulling a mirror out of her pocket, she looked in it and back at him. "You're playing is shit. Are you some sort of sadist if you are torturing people with those... sounds?" She did what he suggested.

"How does your mum feel about you copying her hairstyle?" she asked sarcastically. Normally, she wouldn't even bother talking to people but she found this guy's humour funny, even though she wouldn't admit it. She insulted people a lot but she could never make a very witty comment, just straight to the point.

Riley stared in a state of surprise, as this woman actually pulled out a mirror? She was listening to him? While dishing on his hair? He began to laugh- though it was somewhat bitter- as he clutched his abdomen. "Holy shit, are you one dumb bitch! Yes- I'm totally a sadist, if it means making fucks like you miserable." He howled like a lion, shaking his head.

"By the way," He continued, sneering at his one-person audience. "If you must know, I killed her just so I could have this hair. It's all women are good for, anyway." Did Riley believe such things? No, not really. But hey, if it got this woman to stop raving on him, it was worth it. "Speaking of- you're one of them, aren't ya? Those human cows. Get on your way and reproduce like you're supposed to so I can keep playing."

She gave a small laugh. God, this guy was a dick; more so than her. Honua hated people like him but she decided this was neither the time nor place. They were in a public place, if she tried anything, she'd get into trouble. Instead she just shook her head and started to walk away from him.

After hearing his last statement, she stopped and turned. The smile she once wore due to his pathetic comments faded into a more emotionless expression, though there was a hint of anger in her eyes. "Careful, it would be a shame if someone were to mess up that pretty little feminine face of yours." She couldn't stand people who looked down on her because of her gender. People who mistreated people like her. She wanted to hurt every son of a bitch like him. Especially the ones who mistreated her directly.

He'd done it! She was leaving- and he didn't even need to start insulting her family like he'd had on his agenda. He smiled a bit as she began to walk, about to pull out his guitar-... and then he noticed she'd stopped. His smile fell as he realized he'd genuinely pressed a button with this woman, and pissed her off.

His expression, as she spoke, became unreadable in that moment as he stared at her, merely thinking of what to say. Truthfully, he wouldn't mind what she was implying. He probably deserved it, and it would still solidify his goal of making this woman not give a damn about him later. However, she had already been on her way out. Perhaps, if he pushed just a little more, he could get her to go without violence.

A long sigh left him before he sneered at the purple haired woman, his gaze a bit on the cold side. "That isn't worth your time, you fucking grape-shit. Last warning- leave so I don't have to look at that ugly little face of yours. I have a guitar to play. Before this feminine face makes you suck his greasy, smelly dick." He was careful to return to the insults that were personal, rather than on her gender. He could only hope she'd leave, now.

She couldn't just punch him right here. Could she? If it was not such a public place, she wouldn't hold back but getting into trouble on the first week wouldn't be best. Honua didn't let the anger take over, she suppressed it.She often let her anger get the best of her, lashing out, but this time, she composed herself.

Instead of assaulting him, she leaned in. Her ring on her finger allowed her hand to become solid titanium in an instant. Without hesistation, she brought down her hand in the style of a karate chop and sliced the guitar strings. "I'll leave you to play your guitar then," she responded with a slight smile. Honua returned to her normal stature and began to walk away, her hand returning to flesh.

Riley expected to be punched, more than anything. He could deal with it, he'd not even remember the next day. He tensed with the anticipation of it, his gazed locked with her- yet it was lax, not bothered in the slightest.

However, she didn't punch him. Instead, she went.. oddly calm, in her actions- and sliced his guitar strings. "Hey!!" He cried out, making a move to grab it. He stared in disbelief, a moment, clearly upset. The guitar hadn't done anything, why would she cut the strings of it when he was the one who had sad those things to her? Anger boiled in him a moment as his grip on it tightened.

Regardless, he didn't stop her. Instead, he simply gave a single, bitter retort. "Next time? Cut me instead. Go for the throat, if you can. Fucking bitch." He stood, setting to leave himself with muttered, indiscernible curses.

Well....this wasn't exactly what Lyria had in mind for her first day. She thought she could spend some time sightseeing before getting settled in at school when she got sidetracked by the sound of a guitar. It wasn't very good, and it left her to wonder if the person playing the instrument was aware of that fact. If they were, she could only assume that they were either very confident or they genuinely enjoyed playing, regardless of the quality.

She decided to make her way over, her mild curiosity compelling her to see who was behind the music when she heard someone rudely comment on it. She listened to the entire conversation- Trill found the back and forth insults to be quite funny- before finally arriving to a girl slashing the guitar strings. After some final comments, they began to go their separate ways.

Lyria figured she should help the boy out, after all, he wasn't the one who started the whole thing and he definitely didn't deserve to have his guitar broken. Sure he responded aggressively, but the girl didn't need to comment in the first place.

She figured she should get help from the only other person with her at the moment, regardless of how she knew she would answer. ~Hey, Trill? You can restring a guitar, can't you?~ Lyria asked, speaking in her thoughts. ~And I'm pretty sure we have some extra strings in our storage mirror~
~Of course I can, but I'm not fixing shit. If it's not my guitar then it's not my problem. Besides, he's a rude fuck and I don't want him talking to you.~

Lyria ignored the last bit of what she said and caught up with the boy anyway. "Excuse me! Do you need some help with your guitar?" Honestly, Lyria was fully expecting to get insulted by this person as well. While she couldn't tell if he was naturally aggressive to everyone or if he only responded like that because he was insulted, she could tell he was pretty agitated at the moment.
