Shinji had finally arrived on the Manta Carlos Islands. This was his first time even leaving his native land and exploring the world outside of his original life. he had high hopes for the school that he was attending. At the moment, it was night time. The atmosphere was beautiful and breathable. the air had a beautiful scent to it that had your mouth watering. Shinji couldn't quite put his finger on what the smell was but he knew for sure that it was food of some kind. He hadn't eaten since the time he left for the trip. that was about 18 hours ago. he was starving. he was tempted to follow the graceful aroma through the air and buy some of said food but he knew what he had to do first. As he stood outside of the airport where he was dropped off and given a map to the school, he stopped and closed his eyes. He held his head up and smiled deeply showing great inner happiness for what he has done regarding coming here to get a proper education as well as master his powers. He had a well control over them but he wanted to know how he would be able to change his power into something unique and use it in other ways instead of just brute force and a small power up. Aside from that, he took in a huge breath and held it for a moment. he looked into the sky and opened his eyes as he exhaled. "This is going to be great for me here, hopefully i can find some people who actually find someone who can relate to me and isn't such a gloomy person with a dark past. Seems like everyone has that trait these days." he said to himself as he looked at the stars above.
Once he was finished taking in the fresh summer air and the great scent of food, he went off with his luggage, which only consisted off a back pack and a small suit case, to find this school that was so famous around here. Shinji took out the map, unfolding it, and held it with one hand. He stared at the map for awhile while trying to find out where he was on the map currently. he wasn't paying in the slightest amount of attention to where he was walking and almost ran into a vast number of pedestrians. Luckily they knew what they were doing and dodged him. He didn't even notice that he was in anyone's way. "Ah, so I am here..." He began as he stopped and looked all over the map. he couldn't seem to find the actually school itself on the map. Actually it was in plain site, right next to where he was was. Setting his suit case down on the light grey concrete side walk, Shinji put his hand on his hip trying to think of what he was going to do since he couldn't find the school. Maybe he should ask for directions? This was his first thought until he scanned the map one last time and noticed that he was right next to it. "Jeez I'm such a retard. Now where is the scale on here?" He asked himself as he looked for the scale to see what the scale was from inches to miles. Once he found it, he quickly noticed that the school was only about a mile and a half to the west of him. "At least I don't have to walk a long way. Now I can walk without having to where myself out. I can even enjoy checking the place out." Nd with that, he was off to find his school.
"Well this place seems to be very festive tonight." He said to himself in his own thoughts while looking at all of the lights. many people were walking around through markets, through houses, and some were just enjoying this beautiful night by themselves or with their significant other. Within 20 minutes of fast paced walking, well not really fast paced, Shinji always seemed to take longer strides than others, he was able to see the school from where he was. It was massive. The scenery around it was immaculate and gave out huge attractions to the eye. Shinji only stood in awe once he got to the entrance of the school. His jaw was on the ground when he really saw how large it was once he was closer to it. Shaking his head, Shinji walked up through to the doors and followed the hallway guide system on the first wall after entering the doors to find the admissions office. "Down this hall and to the right...Second door on the left. Sounds easy enough." Shinji said aloud as he followed the directions without any time wasted. Once he got to the office he knocked on the door lightly and entered. "I am new here and I suppose that I am supposed to check in with the people here for my arrival?" Shinji asked as a student was sitting at a table filling out papers. The student turned around and said with an expressionless face and voice, "You name please?" He walked over to a file cabinet and went through some files after learning Shinji's full name. Walking over to Shinji, the student smiled and handed him a few papers, "You must have been sent a letter to come here yes? If so, then you don't need to fill out any papers or anything. These are all you will need, your class schedule, your dorm room, etc. Just be sure to look over them carefully." Shinji was a little confused at how much he would have to read to learn everything about this place but its what he chose to do with his life. Besides, it couldn't be that hard to do, right? "Umm, thank you. Hope to see you around here soon." Shinji finished his sentence while he walked out of the room and off to his dorm. It was gonna be a good night for him.
